The Abernathy Family was considered the purest and highest level bloodline among all existing families.

Other major families never married their daughters into this family, fearing they might taint the God's Bloodline, at least according to the official statement given by other families.

The reason for referring to it as the God's bloodline was its ability—Adaptation.

This simple word was enough to make its user stronger in any environment, providing abilities like rapid learning, enhanced physical adaptation, psychological adaptability, environmental adaptation, enhanced perception, adaptive combat skills, social adaptation, and molecular adaptation.

Adaptation provided them with abilities similar to those of the other three families as well: shape-shifting according to environmental needs(akin to the Riantain Bloodline); rapid learning(similar to the Devereaux Family); and psychological adaptability, (resembling the psychic abilities awakened by the Tenebri Bloodline.)

Though not at the level of the original abilities, these adaptations were still sufficient to elevate them to the peak on Blue Star.

Normally, none of the major families in history ever married someone from another major family due to their high-level bloodlines and the animosity they held for each other.
