According to his system, Lucas knew that by killing the hosts of the other system, they could upgrade the level of their system.

Even though Beck always followed his orders, the human heart is the most complex thing to understand whether it was in his previous world or the current world because greediness is in human nature.

So, Lucas asked Beck about her decision while staring intently at her.

"What are you saying, young master?"

Beck was shocked when she heard Lucas's words and she didn't understand why her young master was saying such words.

"Huh? Looks like your system didn't say these things."

Lucas shook his head as he could understand why Beck looked so confused and continued saying, "Why don't you ask your system when you encounter another system host?"

"Okay."

Beck nodded her head and asked the system in her head about it.

"What? I have to kill the young master?"

After getting the reply from her system, Beck was shocked to the core as she turned very serious at the system.

"System, I am thankful for helping me so far; however, if I were to choose between the system and the young master, I will choose the young master's side without any hesitation."

Beck didn't bother to hide her words as she coldly replied to the system.

"Young master, if you can use my system to upgrade your system, I am more than happy to give it to you; however, I don't know how to retrieve it."

After giving a serious warning to her system, Beck's cold expression turned into an apologetic expression as she replied to Lucas.

"There is only one way I can take your system and it is to kill you."

Lucas didn't show any emotion as he replied to Beck before asking, "So, should I kill you and take your system?"

While saying those words, Lucas summoned a rank 3 dagger as he placed it on Beck's neck.

"It is my duty to die for the Hellmore family, young master. If my death helps you, I will gladly die for you."

There was a smile on Beck's face as she said those words to Lucas.

'Tong'

'Ouch'

"Silly girl"

All of a sudden, the rank 3 dagger in Lucas' hands disappeared as he lightly tapped on Beck's head before taking her into his embrace.

"Don't you remember my father's words? We should look after each other and grow powerful to make our parents proud."

Even though Lonewolf was yet to transmigrate into this world when that incident happened, after taking over Lucas' body, he's got all the emotions and experience of Lucas.

So, he remembered that incident when Lucas' father Aldrich Hellmore said those words to them.

"Also, do you really think that the system is as valuable as you? In my eyes, the system is nothing in front of you."

Those words really came from the bottom of his heart because as an orphan in his previous life, he knew the value of love compared to the power gained by killing that love.

What's the use of having a lot of power when there is nothing for you to protect or no one to take care of you?

Soon, Beck started crying as she hugged Lucas tightly.

Beck was ready to give her life for Lucas and the Hellmore family; however, she was sad because Lucas thought she would kill him for his system after finding out he was the system host.

However, after hearing Lucas' words, Beck felt happy that Lucas valued her more than the system in her head.

A system that could give a variety of treasures that change the talent of the host, titles that have incredible effects, items that can shake the firmaments.

So, it was natural for anyone to covet it; however, her young master said that she is more valuable to him compared to her system.

"Young master, since you know a lot of systems, do you know of a way to make my system submit to your system?"

While staying in Lucas' embrace Beck asked a question.

"I don't know. Let me ask this question to my system."

Lucas knew what Beck was implying because even though the system was helping them become powerful, they didn't have much knowledge of their origins.

Moreover, these systems might make them enemies as both of them knew how capable the systems were; however, if one system swears loyalty to another through some contract or whatsoever, then they don't have to worry about the systems anymore.

  A system can't submit to another system no matter how powerful the other system is; however, a system host can form a contract with another system host using a special item called 'System contract',

'Ding,

  However, it will be available only when the system is upgraded to level 2.

Soon, the system in Lucas' head explained what he had to do now.

"Beck...."

Lucas explained what he learned from his system to Beck

'Ding,

  Hey, young man, what kind of lousy system have you got?

All of a sudden, a system notification appeared in front of Beck which Lucas could see with his eyes.

"Huh? You can talk with other system hosts?"

Lucas was surprised for a moment before asking the system.

'Ding,

  Of course. If the system wants to communicate with others, it can do it without any difficulty.

'...'

Lucas was speechless at the Beast tamer system's words.

'Ding,

  I think you have a low grade system. So, why don't you swear your loyalty to me? I can give you some good rewards from time to time?

"System, shut up."

Beck was irritated with her system's words and asked it to shut up because why would her young master need to swear loyalty to her system? Because, indirectly, Lucas would be swearing loyalty to Beck since she was the hostess of the system.

  Who are you calling a low-level system? Your father here is a Sovereign system. I dare you to call me that again.

Finally, it was Lucas' system turn to retort at the beast tamer system.
