The deal with [Lucky rose] was finished without any discussions as both parties got what they wanted.

'Ding,

        The [Exchange Platform] will be sealed for a month before the host can use it again.

'I have to find a way to upgrade this feature somehow.'

Lucas felt it was such a good feature; however, it had a great restriction and thought of upgrading; however, he didn't know how and even the system was clueless about it.

'Anyway, I will just use the mana fruit to increase my magic sea before entering the [Fighting arena].'

Lucas thought about the other feature and without wasting any time, he summoned the Mana fruit.

'A green apple?'

The mana fruit looked just like a green apple from his previous world as he shook his head and stopped thinking much about it.

Since he was only interested in the effects of the fruit, Lucas directly ate the fruit.

'Ding,

          The host consumed a [Mana fruit]. Please endure the pain as it will be painful to increase the magic sea.

'Pain? Let's see.'

Lucas smirked as he sat down with his eyes closed and he was ready for the pain.

Soon, Lucas felt a sharp pain in his head where the magic sea was situated and slowly the pain started rising; however, Lucas didn't even flinch a little as he remained calm.

'Ding,

        Congratulations to the host for successfully absorbing the energy from the [Mana fruit].

'Ding,

        The host's magic sea is increased by 1000 units and the current magic sea capacity is 3000 units.

Time continued to pass and within a flash, 10 minutes passed by as Lucas received a system notification that made him open his eyes.

'It was nearly as painful as my previous life and if it continued for another few minutes, I would have definitely groaned.'

Lucas wiped the sweat on his forehead as he checked his magic sea.

'With 3000 units of magic power, I can use the spell [Lightning bullet] nearly 400 times. If I get 10 experience points for each time I cast it, it will be enough to increase its level by two.'

Lucas was very happy when he thought about increasing his [Mage] rank.

Currently, the [Lightning bullet] needs 1000 experience points to reach level 3. So, Lucas felt it won't take long before he became tier 2 or even tier 3 lesser mage.

          Please choose a mask of your liking.

Soon, a holographic screen appeared in front of Lucas in which there were many face masks of different styles that were shown to him.

'Huh? Are these masks to hide my identity?'

Lucas asked the system about the masks.

'Ding, 

          Yes but the main use of these masks is, it allows the host's consciousness to enter the [Fighting arena].

'Oh. So it was like that.'

Lucas nodded his head and understood before selecting a mask, 'I like that one.'

He chose a mask that had black and blue flames design which made it like Lucas from a glance.

'Ding,

          Put the mask and rest in a comfortable place to enter the [Fighting arena].

The face mask he chose appeared in his hand like magic and at the same time, he got the system notification.

'System, will it be risky to enter the fighting arena without putting guard for my body?'

Lucas thought what would happen if someone were to disturb him or wake him up in the middle of having a serious fight in the [Fighting arena].

'Ding,

        There is no need to worry about it as the host will be protected by a barrier that even peak tier 5 higher knights can't destroy.

'Oh. That's powerful.'

Lucas felt relieved as he put on the mask before settling in his bed and before he could know, he entered into a deep sleep before opening his eyes in an endless space.

'Huh? Where is the fighting arena?'

Lucas looked around; however, other than endless space, there was nothing around him.

          Matching a similar host. Please wait.

'Ding,

        Found a similar opponent. Sending both the hosts to an empty [Fighting arena].

Soon, he received two system notifications before the endless space around him changed into a plain grassland.

'Swoosh'

Just as Lucas was looking around, a silhouette appeared in the distance with a red mask on his face.

<Defeat the opponent. The sooner you defeat, the higher your reward will be.>

There was a voice from the sky that made both the fighters look at each other with slight smiles under their face masks.

"I will win my first match in the fighting arena."

Lucas' opponent sounded confident as summoned a bow and condensed a shining arrow out of thin air before aiming at Lucas.

'Swoosh'

However, Lucas rushed towards his opponent at an incredible speed and when he was within 10 meters of his opponent, he disappeared and appeared behind the red-masked man.

'It's over.'

A rank 3 dagger appeared in Lucas' hands as he aimed for the young man's neck to kill him.

'Hehe'

However, just when the dagger was about to touch the neck, Lucas' opponent revealed an evil smile on his face, making Lucas frown.

Nevertheless, Lucas didn't stop the attack; however, just as the dagger cut the skin, his dagger was blocked by something.

'It is over for you.'

The bow in Lucas' opponent's hands transformed into a snake and binded Lucas.

"So, I think you should know my name because, in the future, you will continuously hear about my achievements…Hehe"

With an eerie smile on his face, he turned towards Lucas who could not move because of the binding of the snake and said to Lucas.

"My name is [Blood tamer] and this is my first battle in the [Fighting arena]."
