Sovereign of the Firmaments

Bryok and Jenson felt that Kenal could have just left with his brothers and sisters; however, when they thought about their reason for staying back, they didn't think much about it as everyone had their own story to stay back in the Silverstone town to defend it from the evil spirit beast invasion.

'Even if they didn't understand, I can understand why Kenal is so attached to this town.'

As an orphan in his previous life, Lucas always wanted to find a place to call home and if he had really settled in someplace, he would definitely do everything in his power to protect it.

"So, everyone has their own problems and stories."

Lucas nodded his head in a calm tone before saying, "So, I will help you in developing your families; however, in return, I ask you to become the guardian families for my Hellmore family."

Finally, Lucas said his intentions without wasting any more time.

"So, you are asking us to become your subsidiary families."

Kenal and others raised their brows as they asked Lucas.

"Not subsidiary families; instead, guardian families. A subsidiary family will work on their own and pay tribute to the main family in return for the protection from the main family, which is obviously what you know about."

"As for the guardian family, it has to protect the main family at any cost, in return, they will get good resources. In short, I will try my best in making you as powerful as possible because I will be leaving the protection of the main family to you."

Lucas explained the difference between a subsidiary family and the guardian family in a calm tone.

"What if we don't want to?"

Bryok was the first to reply among the three young men, making Kenal and Jenson look at Lucas wondering what his reply would be.

"I am not the type to force anyone. So, if you don't want to become a guardian family, you can be considered as an associate of the Hellmore family who worked together to oppose the invasion of the evil spirit beasts."

"However, I will not help you unless you help me in return."

Lucas was not beating around the bush as he directly came to the point.

"Hm"

Soon, the three family heads started thinking about Lucas' options for some time before saying, "Family head Lucas, can you give us 24 hours to think about it?"

Even though Lucas said that the subsidiary family and the guardian family were not the same, they knew that becoming a guardian family meant becoming the servant of the Hellmore family. 

So, they wanted to think about it before coming to a conclusion.

"Sure. I will be waiting for your answer."

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he ended the meeting.

After giving some orders to Bernard, Reece and Harper, Lucas went back to his room as he felt weak for some reason.

'Is it because of the [Fighting arena]?'

After the heavens blessing, Lucas's tiredness disappeared; however, after that, he entered the [Fighting arena] and fought ten back to back matches.

So, he thought it was the only valid reason for him feeling all tired and weak.

'Ding,

     Even though the host didn't do anything physically, your consciousness is exhausted due to the [Fighting arena]. As long as the host rests for some time, the exhaustion will disappear.

'Hm'

With that system notification, Lucas didn't stress much about anything as he entered a deep sleep.

Next day morning.

'The sleep was good'

Lucas slept for more than 12 hours before waking up from his sleep.

'Last night, I wanted to check more about the 'Town management feature'. Let's check it now.'

In the town management feature, there were multiple options other than making him invincible in his town; however, Lucas was too tired to focus on them. So, he opened the new feature.

'Ding,

     Feature name:- Town management feature (level 1)

     Uses:- 1) Makes the host invincible in the town that was linked with the user.

           2) The user can edit the structures in the town with a thought.

           Note:- While editing, nothing will happen to the residents.

           3) The host can construct different buildings as long as he has the blueprints of those buildings. 

           4) The town will have an absolute barrier that protects the residents of the town.

     Note:- The buildings constructed without blueprints will be considered normal buildings and they will not have any special effects.

'Huh? This looks like the game played by Quickscar in his free time.'

Lucas' fellow assassin in his previous life who used to spend his free time reading web novels and playing video games always used to shout about these things.

So, he compared the current feature of the system to the games from his past life.

'Anyway, as long as it is useful to me, I will try my best to utilize all the system features.'

With that thought in mind, Lucas decided to modify the entire town.

'Swoosh'

As soon as he thought about modifying the entire town, a projection of the proto-type of the Silverstone town appeared in front of Lucas.

'Ding,

     Please edit the Silverstone town on the empty board.

Just as he was wondering what to do, an empty floating board appeared beside the proto-type with exactly the same dimensions.

'Hm…let's start with the Raindrop manor in the center of the town and since three families will be staying in the town whether they become the guardian families or not, I will put them in a five-kilometer radius from my manor in three different directions.'

With a thought, the four manors were in the places exactly where he thought they should be.

'I will take weapons pavilion's workshop, Alchemy guild's furnace room, Potional hall's potion hall.'

Since he had some talents that needed to learn refining weapons, pills and potions, he decided to take them and place them near to his manor.

'I don't know where I will get the blueprints for the buildings until I get them, I will just use them.'

This was Lucas' thought as he finished editing the town after adding some things to make it look like a town.

'System, I finished the edit.'

'Rumble'

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas felt the ground was shaking, making Lucas frown for a moment.
