Lucas was still in shock as he muttered about the skill, 'With this skill, I can become the master of the lynx spirit beasts while evolving them and making them powerful.'

This thought made Lucas excited as he clenched his fist, 'Evan, just hang in there. I will find you as soon as possible.'

The main reason why he wanted to become strong was for his little brother who was abducted by some mysterious organization with unknown origins except for its insignia.

If Lucas could see the evolution method of the lynx spirit beasts, he could form an army of his own and make them continuous stronger by evolving them.

Soon, Lucas came out of his thoughts with the two system notifications that appeared in his head.

With that thought in his head, Lucas rushed to the location of the Night Cerberus hoping that it would be still sleeping in the cave.

Just like he calculated, it took exactly 20 minutes before coming back to the cave.

Lucas used the same tactic he used on the Jade lynx as he baited the rank 4 Night Cerberus sleeping in the cave out using his tamed spirit beasts.

'A Night Cerberus's strength will be increased 3-5 times in the night times and in the daytime, as long as the spirit beast rests in the dark cave, its strength would be at least double.'

Lucas muttered about the innate trait of the Night Cerberus as he continued, 'As long as I can make it come out of its cave, it was no other than a normal rank 4 spirit beast.'

The eagle and the panther didn't enter the cave recklessly; instead, they stood in front of the cave and made the noises to irritate the Night Cerberus.

Generally, the Night Cerberus is a night creature and it only comes out of its cave at night. In the daytime, it sleeps all day. So, Lucas was hoping to irritate his tamed spirit beasts to make it come out of the cave.

'Huh? Is this Night Cerberus deaf or what?'

Even after five minutes, there was no response from the cave, making Lucas frown.

He was sure that there was a Night Cerberus inside the cave as the phantom eagle had already confirmed about it.

So, Lucas didn't understand why there was no response from the cave.

'Looks like I have to enter the cave myself and assassinate it in the cave.'

Lucas didn't have the comfort of wasting the time as he didn't want to waste the additional skill slot for his General assassin rank.

Nevertheless, Lucas had already made a backup plan in case something goes wrong. So, without wasting any more time, he entered the cave before casting the intermediate spell on himself.

'Even though it can make me invisible if I move, I just have to stop moving five seconds before becoming invisible.'

Lucas still remembered the second effect of the spell [Invisiblilty] and decided to make full use of it.

Even though he didn't have much time to waste, Lucas was calm and slowly entered the cave.

When he saw the sleeping Night Cerberus, Lucas could not help but think instead of luring it out, it was better to assassinate it while it was still in its sleep.

'Anyway, let's test whether it was really asleep or just didn't want to come out of the cave.'

Lucas didn't start his assassination when he saw his target look like it was in a deep sleep; instead, he transmitted its voice to his tamed spirit beasts.

'Make noise now; however, be careful in escaping because it is a rank 4 spirit beast with at least two times more powerful than the regular rank 4 spirit beasts.'

Both the spirit beasts didn't fear much because of their exceptional skills in escaping from the powerful spirit beasts.

'Excellent. This spirit beast is in a very deep sleep.'

After seeing that Night Cerberus didn't even budge a little from its position even after the continuous noises from the spirit beasts.

Seeing that, Lucas was, of course, very happy and summoned back his two spirit beasts.

'Time to assassinate it.'

With a slight smile on his face, Lucas slowly moved closer to the target while checking the remaining time left to sacrifice the spirit beast to get his second skill.

However, just when he was around 10 meters away from Night Cerberus, Lucas was stopped by a barrier that became visible when he touched a moment ago, before disappearing without a trace.
