Chapter 1427: Making Up

Above the heavenly screen, an expert clad in white robes whose figure seemed a little illusory with an extremely pale face stepped out from the void. He was a middle aged cultivator and accompanying him was a region of shattered space.

The expressions of many mid to high-level experts quickly backed away.

The only ones who didn’t move were the True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World. They knew that the region of shattered void around him was because he had just ascended and wasn’t able to properly control his strength or hide his aura.

“I didn’t think that the Jianmen Gate would be hiding an expert of your level. I never heard of you before.” A voice came from the side suddenly, and he didn’t sound so friendly. Everyone turned to look at Liu Jingsheng.

The Jing Continent was neighbors with the Shu Continent, and the Yuanchen Sect could be said to have risen with a speed that was second only to the Tongyou Institution. If they said that the Yuanchen Sect had never set their sights on the Shu Continent the sun would rise from the west.

With how things were playing out, even if they had plans for the Shu Continent, everything would go up in smoke now.

The Tongyou Institution and the Eternal Palace’s backup was secondary now that they produced a True Immortal.

Lu Bailu smiled in response and muttered, “I have been in seclusion in recent years and rarely emerged to travel the world. I don’t know much about what is going on and it’s normal for you not to have heard of me.”

Actually, when Lu Bailu heard that they were about to lose out on a world fragment that was 2,000 miles wide, he started to regret breaking through so early.

However, he knew that the moment of breakthrough wasn’t something he could delay as he pleased. It was the combination of many factors and if he tried it a little later, the outcome might be completely different.

Also, breaking through to the Martial Void Realm would bring the most benefits to the Jianmen Gate, not obtaining the fragment.

Quickly adjusting his attitude, he quickly watched as the world fragment was allocated to the Sha Continent.

It was a world fragment of 2,000 miles and to the other continents, they were far from reaching a state of perfection with it. Logically speaking, they should be given to the continent with the strongest foundation among the other 4. The Sha Continent was the weakest continent, and they shouldn’t be the ones getting it.

If they had to describe the Sha Continent, it would be a mishmash of landmasses and was pretty much a barren land.

Fortunately for them, they were able to support the Desert Gate and their southern region could be considered a somewhat decent land for cultivation.

During their discussion, Zhang Xuansheng surprisingly supported the infusion of the last remaining piece of world fragment to go to them, bringing great shock to the experts of the Sha Continent.

Even though other True Immortals would try to fight for a piece of the world fragment, the size of it was just too small and they didn't find it worth it to offend the Northern Sea Mystic Sect because of it.

With Zhang Xuansheng stepping in, several experts quickly agreed to the allocation.

Fei Xuzi wouldn’t go against Zhang Xuansheng’s decision, and so did Zhang Jianzi. Everyone understood that even though Zhang Jianzi was ‘expelled’ from the Northern Sea Mystic Sect so he could become an Elysium True Immortal of another faction, he was still a part of them. Not to mention the fact that Zhang Jianzi was related to Zhang Xuansheng by blood.

With the Elysium True Immortal of the Heavenly Star Elysium agreeing, Yin Jingxu had to agree too.

With 4 True Immortals immediately supporting Zhang Xuansheng’s decision, the decision was pretty much made.

After all, Zhang Xuansheng was 1 of the 3 high-level True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World at the moment. In a sense, the only people who could actually refuse his suggestion were Shang Xia and Kou Chongxue, but they wouldn’t step out and embarrass Zhang Xuansheng because of something so small!

With the allocation pretty much set, something surprisingly suddenly happened. Lu Wuzi, who used to never take part in any decisions made by the True Immortals and had acted like he was invisible since he became a True Immortal actually also stepped out to agree with Zhang Xuansheng!

Everyone showed strange looks on their faces as they looked at the experts of the Northern Sea Mystic Sect and those who were once part of it.

When they thought about how both Zhang Jianzi and Lu Wuzi would be standing on the same side as the Northern Sea Mystic Sect, a multitude of thoughts ran through their minds.

If they were really going to join hands, the Northern Sea Mystic Sect would possess the strength of 4 True Immortals immediately and they would catch up to the Tongyou Institution in terms of strength.

Those present in the hall quickly turned to stare at Kou Chongxue, Shang Xia, and Ge Qingzhu.

As Sun Haiwei was injured by Dou Jie the matter with the Yuhai Sect, she had entered seclusion to recover and wasn’t present in the hall.

To Ge Qingzhu’s shock, Shang Xia and Kou Chongxue looked extremely composed, and from the soft smile on Shang Xia’s face, he didn’t look like he cared at all.
