Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Blaze Regret's expression tightened. It was autumn, a season when all spirit beasts frantically hunt to prepare for the impending snow covered winter. Clearly, they had ventured into the feeding grounds of the Dominating Blade Mantis.

"Swish!"

One of the strongest Dominating Blade Mantis paused for a moment before suddenly charging forward, its right blade raised high as it slashed fiercely towards Yun Anuar, who seemed to be the strongest.

"Sixth rank, very well!"

Anger flashed in Yun Anuar's eyes as he commanded his Wind Scythe Bird to meet the attack head on. The two spirit beasts clashed rapidly, exchanging blows.

"Muk Karthik, you hold one off. Suhaila and I will handle the rest."

Xen Kai naturally took command, as if he was used to such situations. However, he completely ignored Blaze Regret, leaving him isolated.

"No problem."

Yun Suhaila nodded slightly. Apart from the leading mantis, the others were only second or third rank, which they could barely manage with their combined strength.

Watching the others quickly engage their opponents, Blaze Regret was happy to stay out of it, observing their spirit beasts with interest.

"Blue Blade Slash!"

With Yun Suhaila's sharp cry, the twin scythes atop the Wind Scythe Bird's head suddenly glowed blue. It then shot forward like a streak of blue lightning, slashing through a Dominating Blade Mantis.

The mantis' head flew off and fell to the ground with a metallic thud, having offered no resistance.

Blaze Regret's eyes flickered. These spirit hunters, like Yun Suhaila, had honed their skills through countless battles. The Wind Scythe Bird's attack was swift and precise, hitting the vital point instantaneously.

On the battlefield, the lower ranked Dominating Blade Mantises fell one by one, while the battle on Yun Anuar's side remained evenly matched.

The Dominating Blade Mantis, being of the metal attribute, had a defense that could rival rock type spirit beasts. Although Yun Anuar was confident he could kill it, it would take considerable time.

"Kid, see the difference between you and me?"

Xen Kai proudly smiled as his Violent Ape pounded another Dominating Blade Mantis into a pulp. He was trying his hardest to impress Yun Suhaila, while Blaze Regret was undoubtedly someone he looked down upon.

"Recklessly expending your spirit energy like that, you indeed have a significant gap compared to Yun Suhaila," Blaze Regret replied with a faint smile.

Though the Violent Ape's method of killing was brute and visually impactful, it consumed an enormous amount of spirit energy, unlike the Wind Scythe Bird's swift, lethal strikes.

"Heh, the weak can only make bold claims," Xen Kai scoffed, dismissing Blaze Regret's words.

"Crash!"

As the number of Dominating Blade Mantises rapidly decreased, there was a sudden rustling in the forest. A mantis with a golden shell emerged, slashing at the Violent Ape.

"Roar!"

With a roar, the Violent Ape clenched its fist, hardening it with rock, and threw a punch, colliding with the golden mantis's claw. Experience magic on m-vl-e-mpyr

As claw met rock fist, a mocking gleam flashed in the golden mantis's compound eyes. With a swift flash, Xen Kai's Violent Ape was sent reeling back, crashing heavily into a tree trunk, blood streaming from its fist.

"A fourth rank Golden Armored Mantis?"

Yun Anuar, catching sight of this scene, couldn't help but gasp in shock.

The Golden Armored Mantis is a rare species among the Dominator Mantis tribe, with only one emerging out of every thousand. Additionally, the initial rank of the Dominator Mantis is of mid warrior grade, whereas the Golden Armored Mantis is of high level warrior, making it undoubtedly stronger at the same rank.

With a single claw, it forced back the Violent Ape. The Golden Armored Mantis's fierce gaze slowly swept over everyone and suddenly fixed on Xen Kai.

With a screech, its body shot out, and its sharp claws, carrying a fierce energy, slashed down toward Xen Kai's head.

Seeing this, a look of anxiety appeared in Yun Anuar's eyes. However, the sixth rank Dominator Mantis was tightly restraining his Wind Sickle Bird, preventing it from leaving the battle zone temporarily.

"Blue Blade Light!"

In her panic, Yun Suhaila hurriedly controlled the Wind Sickle Bird to block the Golden Armored Mantis's attack. However, the Golden Armored Mantis didn't even blink as it pass the Wind Sickle Bird away.

The blade like claws of the Golden Armored Mantis rapidly enlarged in Xen Kai's pupils, and a look of terror appeared on his face. Reflexively, he pulled Yun Suhaila in front of him as a shield.

Used as a human shield by Xen Kai, Yun Suhaila was clearly stunned. Before she could process what was happening, she saw the Golden Armored Mantis's gleaming claws descending rapidly toward her face.

"No!"

Yun Anuar roared in anger, waving his hand to send a wind blade shooting out. It landed on the Golden Armored Mantis's shell but dissipated instantly.

It was evident that although Yun Anuar had offensive spirit arts, he was not proficient in them. They were effective against low level warrior spirit beasts but barely caused any damage to the Golden Armored Mantis.

Yun Suhaila closed her eyes, feeling the strong wind approaching, and a sense of despair flooded her heart.

"Ugh!"

Just as the razor sharp claws of the Golden Armored Mantis were about to strike, a burst of Blue flamed fire suddenly surged forward. Three whirling clusters of Blue flames collided with the body of the Golden Armored Mantis, sending it flying.

As the gust of wind swept past, a lock of hair gently floated down. Yun Suhaila opened her eyes in confusion, only to find that the terrifying figure of the Golden Armored Mantis had vanished.

When she turned her head, the sight before her made her gasp in astonishment.

She saw the body of the Golden Armor Mantis tightly pinned against the trunk of a giant tree, covered in numerous wounds. In front of it, a fire Cat with Blue eyes had its sharp claws piercing through the mantis, nailing it to the tree.

Witnessing this scene, not only Yun Suhaila but even Yun Anuar in the distance was utterly stunned.
