Erix, Rin, Lilith, and Lily stood before the dead Leiro. His head was gone, and the rest of his body was filled with cracks. His skin had turned gray-white, losing all the previous luster, and the shards all over his body broke down and turned into powder.

"What do we have to retrieve from him?" Rin curiously asked. "We leveled up five times even though we just used one skill on him."

"I didn't level up because the normality of Mystic Root no longer binds me," Lilith wryly smiled, "But I get benefits in other ways."

Lilith's eyes faintly shone as she looked at Leiro's intact central chest part. 'His soul is destroyed thanks to the dagger, and his nucleus is also in perfect condition.'

"We have some peeping rats looking here," Lily raised her eyebrows.

"I'll drive them away," Erix said before he snapped his finger, producing several Nihilir wisps and disappeared.

"I'll deal with a few in the other direction," Rin nodded and also vanished with a faint lightning spark.

Since those peeping rats were Rat-king's Noble-order subordinates, Lily and Lilith wouldn't be able to do anything anyway.

Lily, Erix, and Rin immediately began, focusing and infusing their spirit force into the threads.

On the other hand, Reinala, Lynia, and Maleina sat in the corner, their hearts heavy.
