Chapter 79: XII Trinity Shield
Chapter 79: XII Trinity Shield
As he killed the direwolves, Elijah saw thin specks of strange energy flowing in their blood. Elijah thought to himself as he suddenly felt immense threat hovering over him: "So these are the prime beasts that the spirit of the palace spoke of? Although they are in great numbers, they do not seem stronger than a First or Second Realm Practitioner. So who's making me feel so much danger?"
Seeing Elijah's grey lightning bolts, every single one of the from the Prime Beasts were alarmed and looked at him cautiously. After exchanging glances between themselves, they all looked at the clouds.
Coming from the clouds with a roar that echoed from the depths of hell, all the sea water turned red as fish bodies and sea creatures could be seen on the surface of the sea. Suddenly, Elijah felt that he was face to face with an immense being of slaughter and death. Two flaming eyes emerged from the clouds and looked at him with perpetual pressure, and another roar came from his abyssal mouth with terrifying intensity.
This creature had a towering red body. Four large horns emerged from his huge head, with each of the horns adorned with flaming symbols, making it look like a crown. Opening its mouth, the giant creature sucked an enormous amount of energy and air as it prepared to launch a full-scale attack.
Realizing that the giant creature was preparing to do something big, he glanced at everyone on the ship, wondering if it was worth doing this. After deciding, Elijah appeared in the middle of the ship, took out the Low-Grade Prime crystal he had taken before, summoned the four fairies, and ordered: "Stormy, Misty, Destiny and Aura, help me cast a large-scale barrier around the ship.If my energy is not enough, use the Prime Crystal's energy together with my Vital Power and Spiritual force. Quick, there is no time!"
"Yes Master!" The four of them responded at the same time as they put their thin hands on Elijah's shoulder, helping him prepare the Spell. Elijah's mind browsed dozens of shield, barrier and ward spells on his memory searching for the most compatible one to use in this situation. While he searched, he thought about using the Energy Protection Spell, merging it with Void Space, but it would only defend itself against attacks of energy, not physical or spiritual attacks.
Then he though about the Blood and Vitality Shield and the spirit wall spell. With the four fairies helping Elijah, his calculation speed was faster that every human on earth could imagine. In less that ten seconds he managed to merge Energy Protection, Blood and Vitality Shield, Spirit Wall and Void Space into a single spell and one that used the three types of energies he had in his body.
"Body, Soul and Energy will merge as one and form the shield that protects everything under the heavens! It shall never never be scratched or broken! Under the light of the sun, stars and all of creation! I command you to protect! Trinity Shield!"
At the sound of Elijah's grandiose voice. A huge shield with the shape of a giant golden triangle appeared above the ship and protected everyone from the Giant Creature hellfire breath. This triangle connected three colorless gems with thin runes carved in them. Elijah had the feeling that they were not part of the supreme origins but it was not hard for him to know their names and meanings. Byod (Body), Luos (Soul), and Geryen (Energy).
Those three powers formed a barrier so powerful that the moment the fire touched the shield, it shook several times as Elijah tried his best to hold it. His elemental energy, spirit force and vital power was consumed immensely fast, as even the Prime Crystal's power was being consumed.
'Shit! I don't know how much long i can endure.' Elijah felt worried as even if he survived and completed his mission, it was impossible that he could save the people from the ship without help because he did not want to call the attention of any god if he asked Shadow or the Palace Spirit for help. At least, he thought so after Palace Spirit told him about the owner of the huge hand that emerged from the Vortex.
All the scientists was lying on the deck of the ship while everything they thought they knew was broken into millions of pieces, it was possible to see that even if they survived, they would never be the same after this.
Although Elijah created an extremely powerful protection spell, he spent a horrendous amount of energy and the giant triangle began to become increasingly transparent until he felt someone touching his shoulder. Turning his gaze, Elijah saw an elegant golden-haired woman smiling at him as she seemed to be inspecting him. Without noticing Elijah's strange look that he gives her while he pondering about who this woman was, she said.
"Don't worry my little grandson, while I don't know why you came the this exact place. Leave this fire giant to Grandma. I will smack his red face until he flees back to Muspelheim." The woman's said before she flew to the sky and her long golden hair transformed tens of golden blades that hovered around her, and right then, it was as if a golden hurricane was brewing and its speed multiplying as the blades turned into a blur and directly charged towards the fire giant cutting him into dozens of pieces before turning into dust. while he watched everything, Shadow's surprised voice rang out on his mind.
"Elijah! I know her! She is Lady Sif, Thor's Wife." Elijah aprouched her ever more cautiously when he heard Shadow saying she is a goddess. He asked her in a concerned voice: "Have you killed it?"
"No, Fire Giants never truly die. After death, the fire giant's soul would return to Muspelheim and would stay there until their body is reconstructed. But first, we need to find you new clothes before you explain to me what is happening."
