Liora stopped and looked at Alex with complicated emotions in her eyes.

It's not that she's being sexist or something. This is the rule in the beast kingdom here, the female's job is to hunt and bring the food to the table.

He even added the other context in the sentence to distract her from finding out what he did.

After all, No matter how high her favorability is towards him, she becomes of her nature would feel resistance to listen to anything from him.

So he has to train her. If not she would be another troublemaker he has to keep in mind before he has to make any decision.

This made Alex confused, thinking what could make her do this? He could not think of any other reason why this girl is guilty of it.

But then he heard the voice come from beside him, He looked at his body and saw that Rita spoke to him with a low and also guilty ridden tone with hesitation.

This made him more confused on what's happening with these two, Not only Liora but even Rita was acting weird more than usual, Which only means trouble for him.

Thankfully they did not let him dwell on the issue regarding this, Rita fearfully asked him a question giving hint to Alex what these two may have done and was guilty of.

"What did you two do?"

Alex with a heavy heart asked them, He has a bad feeling in his heart.

He is not worried about his tech being destroyed, Though his heart would bleed if that's the case even if he was not the one to pay for that stuff.

As he emotionally attached to those piece of plastic and metals, It would physically going to hurt if they destroyed hardware and games that he brought with Liza's generous money he extorted out of her.

But he is more worried about the reason why they think of doing anything to his deliveries.

He could not fathom they have any logical reason behind doing whatever they did, of which he is damn sure of it.

"I...I didn't do anything, It's all on this crazy woman."

Rita, though having a guilty face, quickly jumps up shaking her head left and right rapidly denying any involvement in what happened with his deliveries, of which fate is still unknown. "Hey hey, That's a lie, Stop lying, You said people send bombs in the package like those, Many people fall for it and die by opening unknown packages."

Liora, hearing Rita was putting all the blame on her, was quick to counter argue trying to shift blame back onto the Rita, It was all fault if this woman, Who said that thing to her.

"What?!....Well I said it but that's true, The reason you did that was you needed space to put

all the stuff you brought and those packages were just in the way."

Rita also counters with telling on Liora, While Alex just stand there dumbfoundedly hearing about their antics.
