Jiang Fei was at the end of his rope. He was out of options, and could only try taking down the boss before it took him down.

Finally, after a final Great Smash, the powerful Demon Lord let its arms hang loosely by its sides. It had been thoroughly defeated, its Health Points completely emptied out. On the other hand, Jiang Fei did not even have 300 Health Points left. One more Great Smash would have taken him out, even if the Healers worked over time.

Even so, Happy Drunk was proud of getting that far. After all, even the biggest guild throughout Dawnlight City, “Magithieves” was still stuck at the first Tigermen’s boss. Slow and steady wins the race, and it’s not stupid if it works, so he saw no reason to change tactics.
