The Poison Madam recounted her story from years past.

Later, pirates attacked the fishing village, and Yao Niang was captured and taken to Crescent Moon Island, becoming the woman of the pirate leader. After being sold several times, Yao Niang's mentality changed. She knew deeply that without power, all that awaited was being trampled upon by others.
