Chapter 389 - 389 Relieved (2)
389 Relieved (2)
Alessandra didn’t answer Edgar’s request immediately, but as soon as she did, she was lifted up into his arms with one foot dangling on each side of his body. She couldn’t recall the exact moment when she and Edgar began to kiss or when her hands slipped into his hair.
Since they had both missed each other so much during the hours they had been apart, their kiss did not begin as sweetly or gently as it usually would. Alessandra genuinely had no idea how she would have fared if Edgar had gone to the border to deal with the trouble with Rafael.
Alessandra was lost in the kiss and only snapped out of it when she felt Edgar’s length right at her core. She was still clothed in the dress she wore but the garment she wore had become loose, exposing her to Edgar. They had never made love with each other while still dressed. She wished to know how he had taken off her garment without taking off her dress and opened his pants without her realizing it until his length probed at her entrance.
“Isn’t it better to take off my dress?” Alessandra asked as the layers would get in their way.
“I can’t wait any longer to have you,” Edgar replied, pushing her back against the door of the closet to help him hold her up with his left hand while the other got most of her dress out of the way. He rested his head on her shoulder as he slowly penetrated her, taking in the pleasure he got attached to.
She filled his mind the moment he left their home to find the maid Eleanor mentioned and after he left William’s home, he thought of her having one less person she had to worry about and how much he wanted to embrace her. Once he saw her in the closet, he desired to do much more than touch her.
His neck was encircled by Alessandra’s hands as she clung to him for support. This kind of connection sparked something in her heart that made her miss him even more. She didn’t set out to be a needy wife, but after the ordeal of spending hours waiting for him, she needed him to remain in her sight until her emotions subsided.
As he was firmly nestled inside of her, Edgar began to move. His pace was slow as he intended to make love to her rather than be intimate for the sake of pleasure. There were a lot of thoughts clouding his mind but once again it was filled with only her. Her touch, her warmth, her moans, her scent, and all that she was.
From the very beginning, she was always someone he felt inclined to protect and shield away from the cruelty of this world. The very thought of Grant trying to steal away her chance to be a mother when they were both looking forward to it was enough to make Edgar want to kill him on the spot.
.....
Edgar clenched his fists as he thrust up inside her. Desperately trying to give her all that he could in this position. If the closet had a rug, he would have taken her on the floor to have her in more ways but he quite liked the way she clung to him in this position.
“Edgar,” Alessandra cried out his name, laying her head sideways on his shoulder. Her nails were pressed into his back out of reflex as the pleasure consumed her mind. Maybe it was because of how much they were longing for each other that it felt more intimate as they made love now. She wrapped her legs around him to help him penetrate her.
She did enjoy it when he was rough but at this moment, his gentleness and slow pace were preferred. She felt how much he had missed her and eventually when her name left his lips she knew she could no longer hold out.
“Edgar,” she said.
“I know,” Edgar kissed her cheek and palmed the back of her head. He continued to leave a trail of kisses from her cheek down to her neck as he brought him to their end.
Alessandra was the first to reach the end and after three more thrusts inside of her, Edgar released his seed. He continued his slow thrust inside of her while he filled her with his seed.
Alessandra loosened her hold on Edgar and leaned back to get a look at him. Thinking the long strands of hair might bother him, she pushed his hair back to be off his face. Immediately, she looked at his chest to see if she could spot any wounds because he held her up high where she could look down on him a little.
She was trying to make sure he wasn’t hurt but the best way to check would be to get him out of his clothes. “You need to stop leaving home abruptly without a coat. You will catch a cold,” she said, starting to unbutton his shirt.
“There is no use in wearing a coat to a fight. You should be more worried about me going without armor. I shouldn’t have said that,” Edgar regretted his words when she looked down at him and her face turned pale since she now had something new to worry about. He was trying to let her know he was fine but ended up adding to her worries.
“Sometimes my mouth gets me in too much trouble,” he added, pulling out of her and placing her back down on the floor.
“Sometimes?” Alessandra stressed the word as his lethal mouth should get him in trouble all the time. She continued to undo the buttons of his cold shirt. Once they were finished, she planned to seat him by the fire and make him drink something warm. At this point, they should have coats hung up by the front door for Edgar to easily grab one when he was rushing off somewhere.
Alessandra pushed his shirt off his shoulders and with Edgar’s help, it finally came off. His hands went straight behind her to aid her in loosening the strings she was fighting against when he came in. “Do not tear them,” she said the moment his fingers hooked around the strings and could tug at them.
Edgar smiled, amused by how well she came to know him. The dreaded strings would prolong him seeing more of her and he did in fact think of ripping them. He could always buy her a new dress or an entire room of them if she would let him. Trying to be patient even though he wanted her again this very second, Edgar tortured himself and slowly untied the strings.
He considered having all the dresses with these strings tossed out after this. Edgar untied them quicker than he expected but he was still annoyed by it.
“I want to take care of you first,” she touched his hands before he could initiate a second round.
“You are,” he replied.
“Not like that. I worry that you will catch a cold. We need to start the fire,” she held his hand and led him out of the closet.
