Chapter 484
Chapter 484: The Mystery of the Portal and the World(2)
The body left of the Meshoptan after the explosion began dissipating into particles. The particles then flew toward the sky.
The next moment, green clouds started spreading across the sky.
The clouds covered the sky as far as Aakesh could see in no time. The volume of the clouds was significantly more than anything Aakesh had seen since he had entered the portal and killed the spider.
A few seconds later, the first raindrop fell from the sky, and soon, it started raining.
As the raindrops touched the ground, the pit started restoring itself, and in no time, the ground restored back to the same as before the explosion.
But Aakesh wasn’t here to see it. Right after the force released by the explosion disappeared, and all the restrictions on Aakesh vanished, Aakesh teleported himself to the edge of Meshoptan’s territory with Clara.
The information about the new territory he had learned from the rulers appeared in his mind.
“Four more territories to go,” Aakesh muttered and then took a step forward, leaving Meshoptan’s territory and entering a new domain.
Clara, with a face filled with myriads of expressions, followed Aakesh.
Time flew by.
“One more territory to go,” Aakesh mumbled and then took a step forward. While Clara, with the burn injuries still present on her body, followed him.
It hadn’t even been five minutes since Aakesh killed the Meshoptan.
Since the territories belonged to the servant of the central ruler, starting from the Meshoptan one, the battle between the rulers and Aakesh was imminent, and Aakesh wanted nothing more than that. If not for the fights, it would’ve taken him another year of a journey to cross these three domains; such vast they were.
After the sudden explosion of the Meshoptan after Aakesh attempted to search his memory, he got his lesson. In the new territory, Aakesh left the ruler in a half-death situation and then started asking questions.
As long as Aakesh asked questions related to the rulers of the territories around this domain, he got his answers. But when Aakesh attempted to ask questions about them, the situation with the Meshoptan repeated, and the ruler exploded.
Fortunately for Clara, Aakesh had ordered her to move far away when his battle began, so this time she didn’t receive any injury.

“No!” Maria refused straight away in response to Evelyn’s suggestion.
George and Evelyn were Immortals living in the Bisan Kingdom. And since the Mysterious peak wasn’t very far from the Kingdom, the sudden movement of the mountain had also alerted them.
When Evelyn went to check it out, she noticed a large portal and people after people entering them.
Since Evelyn was an Immortal and there were only a few things that could impress cultivators of their levels, so when she saw several Immortals entering the portal, a curiosity to know what was inside also emerged in her heart.
Despite being very much interested in what was inside the portal, Evelyn knew that she was now a member of an organization and couldn’t do things out of her will every time. So she took a last glance at the portal and the Immortals entering it and teleported back to the headquarters.
Maria was only a peak Nascent Soul level cultivator, so she had no idea what happened.
When Evelyn returned back to the building, she told George everything she saw there.
George also got interested after learning about the disappearance of the Mysterious peak, the portal, and quite a number of Immortals entering it.
Since Maria was the head of the organization, Skylord, Evelyn decided to tell Maria about the portal and then make her decision.
Time flew by.
“What do you think?” Evelyn asked Maria after she shared everything she saw at the portal.
“No,” Maria refused.
“Skylord has just been established, and you two are the corner of this organization, especially you, Evelyn.”
“If anything happened to even one of you, the organization would face a setback we may never come out from.”
“What do you even hope for from the portal? We already have Panagea, where we could grow stronger with unheard adventures and that too without the fear of death,” Maria further added and shared her reason for her refusal before Evelyn could ask for it while looking at the couple.
She primarily focused on Evelyn because she was the second-ranked adventurer on the leaderboard after Aakesh removed his name and Maria became the first. Not only that, but Evelyn was also the second-ranked authority in the organization after Maria.
After hearing Maria’s reason, Evelyn and George looked at each other and nodded. They could see in each other’s eyes that what Maria said was correct.
They were not only the co-founders of the Skylord, but they were also the protector of the organization. Even though nothing could be done to snatch the territory inside Panagea from Maria, everyone still knew the worth of the land and what Maria and the organization could achieve in the future.
Without Immortals like George and Evelyn in the organization, Maria wouldn’t be able to keep the territory and most probably would get murdered to nip the bud before the organization may have any chances of becoming a mammoth.
“Good decision,” Evelyn commended Maria for coming up with a great decision.
Maria heaved a sigh of relief, hearing Evelyn’s answer. She may be the head of Skylord, but she knew the power difference between Evelyn and her. If Evelyn decided to leave, Maria wouldn’t be able to do anything to stop her.

“Why did you even think that you could kill me?” A childlike voice rang in the area.
In the middle of an area filled with barren patches, a gory scene presented itself, as ripped body parts and blood were spread across the ground while a tiny red creature stood there.
It was none other than Lily, whose fur had gotten red from all the blood that flew toward her.
“Ancestor, we should leave,” Another voice rang in the area as Lily seemed to mock the creature she had just killed.
“Next time, only act when I tell you to,” Lily responded as she used the skill, Epochal Water, to clean herself up, and her shiny white fur presented itself again.
“I am missing Aakesh,” Lily then commented. Her tone contained sadness and helplessness.
