Chapter 140: Returning to the Ainsar World
Chapter 140: Returning to the Ainsar World
"This is a Day Dragon Pearl. If you can use this pearl correctly, you can understand some of the principles of the Fire Element. Of course, this will still depend on your perception." The pearl, which began to fly from the giant tiger's claw, moved towards Heinald.
"Fire Element principles" Heinald's eyes lit up. To understand the principles behind an element was to understand a kind of identity of that element.
As Heinald held the pearl, the sea of consciousness began to shake. He lost control of his mind and body. His vision was completely clouded.
As his vision cleared again as he tried to understand what he was going through, he found himself next to a huge star. He began to watch the different colored flames that the star radiated around it.
He didn't feel any warmth. All he felt was an incredible desire to observe the flames.
The explosions on the surface of the huge red star and the colorful flames that spread as a result of these explosions began to fill his mind completely.
An unknown time passed.
The huge tiger looked at the standing Heinald with an expression of interest. His eyes were closed, he was in a state of deep hypnosis. The light emitted by the pearl he held in his hand was fading away.
This indicated that he had come to the end of his observation period.
After a few minutes, when the pearl's shine was completely gone, it completely disappeared.
Heinald's eyes were still completely closed. He remained with his eyes closed for hours, still appearing to be in deep hypnosis.
When he opened his eyes at the end of long hours, his pupils emitted a golden beam of light for a split second.
"I hope you were able to get some inferences" The giant tiger muttered softly.
"I've gotten a lot more than just some inferences." Heinald smiled faintly.
He had completely lost control of his mind at first, in his own sea of consciousness. However, he later resisted this uncontrollability as best he could, and finally regained control of his mind and was able to think.
"Oh? Is that so?" The gigantic tiger's eyes gleamed sharply.
Heinald let out a deep, sigh of relief.
The most important thing he understood in the process he left behind was that the principles could not be understood because contrary to popular belief, there were no principles. An element was whole and it was all about feeling them. For example, when someone is casting an element-based spell, they already have a certain understanding of that element. But feeling that element is something else.
The things described as 'principles' were actually the levels of feeling that element in a way.
He remembered a few books he had read on principles a long time ago. In those books, it was actually trying to explain that the principles of an element could not be understood, but he failed to understand it at that time.
"As far as I understand, there are different levels of feeling. The Fire Element I felt near a fireplace fire was not the same as the Fire Element I felt through this pearl." Heinald thought.
Inferences about principles were not the most important thing the Day Dragon Pearl taught him. The most important thing it taught him was that types of energy can be felt just by being observed.
He had not felt any warmth in that sea of consciousness, but he had felt the scorching power of those colored flames with his whole being.
"So, was that the relic?" Heinald looked at the huge tiger.
"That's just it." The giant tiger answered.
"The Ulltemol who came here before me..." Heinald looked at the huge tiger, "What do you know about him?"
"As far as he told me, he was exiled by the Ulltemols. He wanted to seize this relic and go to the World of Ainsar." The tiger's calm voice echoed around.
"The World of Ainsar?" Heinald's brows furrowed.
The huge tiger chuckled, "Yes, he did mention he found a way to get there."
"Don't tell me... Could he have caused the creatures to pass through the portal?" Heinald remembered the creatures in the Poplar Wind Forest. He probably managed to activate that portal for a while.
After the fierce battle between Heinald and the Ogre, his body must have been completely destroyed.
Heinald looked at the tiger in front of him, asked the question that came to mind, "Will you always stay here?"
"I have completed the task my master gave me. Now my spirit can leave this realm." The tiger replied.
It was a spirit left behind by an Ancient Ainsar.
Heinald thought that this body might have been bestowed upon him by the Ancient Ainsar, who left this relic.
"How do I get out of here?" Heinald asked.
A door appeared as the huge tiger waved its paw. It was quite similar to the door he had seen at the entrance of the formation.
"When you pass through this door, you will find yourself at the entrance to the ruins. I advise you to get away from there immediately. These ruins will begin to crumble with your exit."
"Will it begin to crumble?" Heinald's eyebrows rose.
"The relic has been captured by you, there is no point in existing here now. I will order the formation under my control to self-destruct."
The giant tiger replied.
"Thank you for your help." Heinald bowed before the huge tiger in front of him and paid his respects. This huge tiger was a spirit thousands of years old and would soon leave this realm.
"Mmm." The huge tiger gave a slight nod.
Heinald headed towards the door and stepped inside. He found himself directly at the entrance to the ruins. A jolt was felt on the ground.
Heinald immediately started traveling along the slope of the Infernal Abyss. When he reached the Black Scorpion Desert, he immediately started traveling towards the portal at full speed.
He had used all his trump cards in his battle with the Ogre, and he had no trump cards to rely on.
He didn't know how the conflict between the Kawtils and the Ulltemols had ended, but he no longer had the confidence to stand up to them.
The Blood Nightmare Shield was completely depleted of energy, and he had no blood to recharge it.
Therefore, he had to immediately return to the Ainsar World. Moreover, he needed to remove the staining in the sea of consciousness. A research process was waiting for him about it.
"I wonder how many years have passed?" Heinald did not know how the time flow was on this plane. When he returned to the World of Ainsar, he could find that many years had passed.
Heinald traveled as fast as he could for days. When he reached the plain where the Portal was located, he ran straight towards the rocky area where the portal was hidden.
When he reached the rocky area where the portal was hidden, he began to feel the spatial energy. He came to the stone he had discovered earlier, where the portal was hidden, and radiated his Magical Energy outward.
Heinald saw his surroundings started bending. He soon found himself floating in a spatial tunnel.
He knew that he had completed his journey when he suddenly felt that his body was being pulled by gravity again.
He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the familiar surroundings, he was inside the underground structure located in Polar Wind Forest.
Heinald immediately left the underground structure.
When he out of the underground structure, he found himself inside the Polar Wind Forest.
"Revakender!" Although Heinald could sense in his spirit that his Spirit Companion was alive, he was on a different plane, unable to mentally communicate with it. However, he could now communicate with it.
He summoned it and waited for it to reach the forest.
Hours later, a huge dragon from the sky began to descend towards him. Each time this jet-black dragon flapped its wings, the surrounding trees twitched at an odd angle.
When it finally landed, the ground on which it had stepped, collapsed into the ground, the trees around it falling into pieces.
Heinald's eyes gleamed as he stared at it. He was n't sure how many years had passed, but his baby dragon had grown twice as large as he had seen him last time.
He jumped on its back and started flying straight towards the academy with it. As he traveled with it above the clouds, he was actually quite curious how much time had passed in the Ainsar World.
He could easily learn this by going to a nearby city, but he didn't need to. After all, he would learn when he went to the academy, there was no need to approach the city with a huge dragon and attract attention.
When Heinald reached the academy, he realized that five years had passed. It wasn't a very long time, but it was still quite a bit of time compared to the short time he spent on that plane.
There had been some changes in his absence from the academy. Larten, the head of the Potions Division, had left. The head of the Potions Division was now headed by a woman named Elly Meson.
Under normal circumstances, Heinald even had a chance to head the division, but in his absence, they probably went on a different choice.
