The Mysterious Black Magician

More and more fireballs came to attack Brai. Some of them were able to graze him. But it wasn't enough to cause noticeable damage to him.

He slashed the fireball on his right and continued stabbing the incoming one. 

After successfully defusing it, he stepped away and evaded the fireball coming to his side. It was followed by a thunderous explosion. Though Brai did not even spare a glance at it. He proceeded in defusing the others who he felt were unavoidable.

He looked like he was performing a dance on the stage while he was brandishing his sword around.

The audience gasped as they were watching the match.

If not because of the gleam on his sword, the onlookers will have a problem perceiving where he was brandishing. His movement was so quick that only a blur image could be seen.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

The rapid slashing noises of his sword against the wind reach their ears. Everyone was watching in awe.

Even Yman had to admire him. If he was his old self, he would have trouble perceiving all those movements. But he was different now. It wasn't a problem for him to follow Brai's movements. Even if he closed his eyes, he could feel them. But is this really the extent of Brai's strength? A thought lingered in his mind. There was some doubt in it.

Also, Kiko, although he was using a spell that needed a lot of mana, he didn't seem affected by it. It just meant that he was blessed.

'As expected of a person born in a top family. They have an abundance of mana.' He thought. If it was his old self, he would feel envy. After all, he could not even activate his black mana properly. But the further he leveled up the easier he could activate his black mana than before. That's why Yman had to level up. 

Regardless, he was curious as to what Kiko planned. All his attacks just now seemed useless against Brai. 'Let's see what the almighty Kiko does in his predicament,' Yman sneered at Kiko's bitter expression on his face. He was creasing his forehead while noticeably gnashing his teeth.

'Fufu.'

He secretly chuckled. He was amused to see Kiko having a troubled expression. He wasn't someone who felt pleasure from someone's trouble, but if it was Kiko, he didn't need to feel bad. Also, it was a good change that the always grumpy little master of the Sun family had such an expression on his face.

Kiko raised a brow after finding out that none of his fireballs was able to accurately hit Brai. 

"This is unexpected everyone!" The sexy announcer, Instructor Beth, shouted with her round bosom jiggled(Boing! Boing!).

Her MTMD's camera was facing her. She was video live streaming herself while announcing. As a part-time job, she was also a streamer with millions of followers.

"Contestant Red(Brai's codename) skillfully handles the fireballs!"

"Wonderful!"

OOOHHHHHHH!

Her screams fueled more excitement to the crowd which caused them to scream as well, shouting the word, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" while pumping their hands in the air. Everyone was so high-spirited. It was the best battle for this round.

The stage couldn't be described anymore. Some fireballs were able to hit the floor and exploded like a bomb, causing damage to it.

"Oh, that's unexpected. Just how did you train that kid, Instructor Must?" Instructor Torr asked the person beside him while crossing his arms around his broad torso.

"Kuku, to be honest, I didn't do much. That kid, he's strong from the start."

"Hm, do you mean…?"

"He was hiding his real strength the whole time."

"Fufu, what a dangerous person!"

"Mhm! Mhm!" Instructor Musk nodded. He was the one who personally trained Brai. However, there was only little he could teach him.

"But…" suddenly, Instructor Torr muttered. Then he said, "I don't think Kiko will lose this match!" He said with a puff.

On the stage, Kiko was clicking his tongue in annoyance.

Tsk!

He never expected that Brai was this strong. But, although Brai already dissolved 30% of his fireballs, many were still left. 

Kiko grinned once again. Since Brai could truly handle them well, he changed his strategy. This time, he would be firing all the remaining fireballs at the same time!

Even Brai widened his eyes, upon noticing that he was surrounded at all sides. He did not expect that Kiko was capable of controlling all of them at once.

It needed a lot of control and concentration to pull it off. He knew Kiko was strong, but not at this point. His image of him was a spoiled young master who was commonly messing up with friends.

Who knows that he actually had this level of control!?

Being surrounded by 60-70 fireballs, there was only the sensation of burning in his skin. His vision was covered by them. He could not even peek into the sky. All he could see was fireballs! Fireballs all around.

All the people who were witnessing such a scene gulped in disbelief. How could one survive in that situation? No doubt, there's only demise as a result. This Kiko— was truly the strongest in the HCZ7 academy!

Kiko secretly laughed.

He was reserving this technique to torture that frog and burn him to crisp. But he did not expect that Brai would be the first victim. Well, there's nothing he can do as Brai was so persistent. Also, his enchantment ability was so annoying.

"Let's see if you can still look at me stoically after this! Hehehe!" Kiko muttered, then broke into a guffaw.

Most of the remaining participants narrowed their eyes while their focus was on the monitor.

As expected of someone deemed as the strongest male student in the academy of HCZ7, he was truly cut above the others.

They wondered if they could do something about it. Perhaps they just give up before feeling the sensation of burning in their skin.

Right now, most of them thought it's better if Brai just gave up the match.

Although most of the students thought the same, some had different thoughts regarding it.

However, everyone agreed that this time Brai was in the odds.
