The Mysterious Black Magician

The black hunter beast can be seen prone on the stage. After a while, the thick smoke that suddenly appeared gradually disappeared. That smoke was made by Yman himself. One of his new creations. 

The image of Yman can be seen standing upright where he had fallen before. But everyone noticed something strange. He was calm as if the fight was just about to begin.

Most of the spectators looked with mixed surprise. They could see it from both of their eyes when he was beaten by the black hunter beast. But how could he stand up already as if nothing had happened?

You could see the joy on Almina's face when she saw that Yman was fine. Contrary to her, Kiko's frown was noticeable. The blonde Maena was silently watching the fight. She was standing next to Almina. And not far from them, Rei-Rei and Sonia could be heard talking about the fight. Julie, on the other hand, was also quietly observing the match.

They were all waiting for the fight to end. In a few moments, their turn will come soon.

"What? He is already standing!?" Panic questions could be heard from the audience. Their frustration is also obvious based on the tone of their voice.

As everyone can see, Yman was standing right on the spot where he was attacked by the black hunter beast. But no scratches or even any injuries could be seen on him. When they noticed this, it seemed as if some kind of magnet had moved their eyes to peek at the number of his life inside the floating monitor above.

Unexpectedly the eyes of the viewers widened, even more, when they realized that his life was full!

"How did that happen?"

"What kind of phenomenon is this !?"

"Impossible!"

Individual reactions were heard from the spectators.

The black hunter beast seems to have been thrown away because of Yman's attack. But after a while, it rose again. When it got up, it shook itself slightly to get rid of any debris sticking to its furs. After shaking itself, it stared angrily at Yman as its sharp fangs glared.

On the other side of Yman, Josie Finn's shocked stare was noticeable. But it did not last long and she immediately calmed herself. She remembered her opponent had a self-healing ability. However, his self-healing ability is only a low tier of healing ability. It cannot heal anyone except himself. But, this does not mean that it can be underestimated. Somehow this ability is of great benefit to the person who owns it.

Josie Finn also has a healing ability. But her healing ability only works for her summon beasts. It cannot heal herself or anyone else. The healing ability of the two is really the exact opposite of each other.

Yman is currently in the middle of Josie Finn and the black hunter beast. They observe each other's actions. Remarkable crimson color energy was coming out of Yman's body.

When they heard a sharp whistle, it seemed to signal another battle. The whistle was coming from Josie Finn. This seems to be a signal to her hunter beast to be motivated to attack the opponent.

When the black hunter beast heard this, it quickly dashed to attack Yman.

Yman could do nothing but face the black hunter beast. The black hunter beast aggressively attacks. It waved its sharp nails one after another.

While her opponent is busy confronting her summoned beast, Josie Finn swiftly flees to approach her other summon, the white hunter beast.

But before she could get close to it she noticed a strange noise coming from behind her. Based on the sounds, they are like the sound of a propeller spinning rapidly.

She quickly looked behind her and saw that three drones were following her. They came in the direction of her opponent. Her eyes narrowed at the sight. She also noticed that these drones have a different shape and design compared to the defensive drones her opponent summoned earlier.

Defensive drones look like small flying discs, while the drones behind her resemble mini aircraft, with propellers visible on each side, as well as behind them.

The spectators shouted when they saw them.

"New drones!?!"

Everyone's eyes widened, as did Josie Finn's when they suddenly fired beams. Compared to the beam fired by the bat sentry, the beams fired by these drones are smaller and look weaker.

But no matter how weak the beams they fired, they were still dangerous if they hit her. That's why Josie Finn didn't hesitate to evade. She was almost too late to dodge, fortunately, she was able to block the flat side of her sword.

When she noticed an opening, she immediately attacked them, but the drones quickly fled. They flew in different directions and easily avoided getting hit by her attack. After evading Josie Finn's attack, they regrouped again and attacked her at once. The spectators were overjoyed as they watched the current match reach its climax. While Josie Finn was fighting the drones, the black hunter beast confronted Yman alone.

However, if you compare the strength of the black hunter beast with the monsters that Yman has already fought, the black hunter beast is much weaker. So as a result, Yman had the upper hand in their duel. Add to that his healing ability that even if he was hit by an enemy attack, or injured, his life count only returns. The other contestants couldn't help but feel anxious about Yman's ability. If most people used to ridicule his self-healing ability, now they are worried.

"Oh, my grace! That ability of his is scary," Jugo couldn't help but comment.

"But how did it happen that he was able to restore the number of his life in full? Shouldn't he be able to heal only some percentage? " Klein's question.

There was another reason why Yman's healing ability was rated low because his healing ability could only heal a certain percentage. Before Josie Finn could defeat all the attacking drones, Yman already defeated the black hunter beast.

Yman was eventually declared the winner when a series of solid attacks hit Josie Finn and she could not fight back anymore. Her big sword did nothing to help her win.

"And use them when the enemy is a little bit spent," Elder Natan followed.

"What a scary schemer he was," said Elder Gatan, who was watching the match along with other elders.

"Fufu. I know right."

The two elders agreed with him.
