Chapter 2861  Escape

Not far from Qhava's fight with Minos and three women, she saw two Devils rapidly approaching.

Seeing the other level 128 Devil from Hell arriving in the area, Qhava immediately shifted her focus, stopping short of making her next move against Minos.

'What are they doing here?' She made an expression that didn't look good, while Minos felt Ruth's powers helping him recover.

Before the enemy could realize it, he was already at the side of his three wives, while the battle of the minions on both sides of this conflict had ceased.

Abby's group of summoners had practically been wiped out, but the remnants on Qhava's side didn't seem interested in pursuing them now. Just like their master, each of them turned their attention to the two enemies arriving there.

"Looks like it worked," Abby said quietly as she joined her family.

Minos nodded, but was still keeping a close eye on his surroundings, worry visible on his exhausted face. This was still not the end of their problems, nor a guarantee that they would survive. But now they had put Qhava in a tricky situation, having already made her make moves powerful even for her level while attracting enemies capable of threatening her.

When the two Devils arrived, Minos opened his mouth and said loudly, "Decide between yourselves who will be the new holder of the Throne of Hell. My family and I know we can't escape. We'll wait for the winners!"

As his words hit the three Devils, each of them looked in his direction; a spatial distortion appeared around where Minos had prepared for their escape before the fight against Qhava had even begun.

Qhava was tempted to stop Minos' escape, but the two level 128 True Celestials could kill her if she was careless. The two newcomers thought similar things, neither wanting to risk themselves for 'just' Minos and Abby.

Minos' words were fair. The competition for the Throne of Hell was now between the three of them. The winner of their contest would have a full advantage to take the position they so desperately wanted. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Minos was certainly a danger with his talent and connections. But in today's situation, he couldn't compare to these Devils.

The same went for Abby, whom they could always pursue and reach, as Qhava had already done. For high-level True Celestials like them, hunting mere Supremes would be a walk in the park!

The three of them looked at each other, allowing Minos' group to temporarily escape, while the tension rose in this area of Hell.

"Qhava... You've made quite a breakthrough during my seclusion. You've been very lucky," said the oldest and most powerful of the three, his gaze as sharp as a guillotine blade.

The other said, "When I heard that you had advanced, I didn't believe it. But now I see the truth in front of me... I don't like what I see at all."

"I don't care what you two think." She huffed angrily at being hindered like this. "Do you understand that the bloody Minos is using you against me?"

"We didn't know where you were, and he showed us the way," said the old man with the black hair and stony skin like Qhava. "Let's let him live a little longer."

The other laughed mischievously and said, "Right. That was a fair exchange. But Qhava, don't worry about them. Where can they get to in a few months? If you have any confidence in yourself, win this dispute and you'll be able to hunt them down quickly again. By that time, you'll be able to take over the territories of three other Devils and become the one to sit on the Throne of Hell."

"You're asking to die." She narrowed her eyes, moving her scythe in a threatening way as her aura grew stronger.

The other Devil said defiantly, "That's if you're really strong enough to win. Yet, that's not going to happen!"

The two moved simultaneously, both agreeing to test Qhava before settling their dispute between themselves in their own way.

Qhava didn't back down, setting off on his fight for the Throne of Hell, leaving Minos and the three human women on the run.

'Enjoy your lives a little more, vermin. I'll catch up with you again soon!'

As that area of Hell erupted into chaos with the fight of three powerful level 128 True Celestials, Minos and his women reappeared in Tanus, this time in a totally different location from the underground area of the 'King of Beasts' inheritance.

In this place that Minos had marked out months ago, where there was a large forest but no dominant tribe for dozens of square kilometers, the four of them collapsed in exhaustion as they were assured that they had not been pursued, even by long-range attacks to hinder them.

Minos was already aware that getting there would be complicated, and as soon as they appeared in the area, the Hell Lifelings they had left to wait for them moved, helping them leave this area.

"Take us away," Abby said to her subjects, speaking while breathing heavily.

Minos coughed up blood on the way as he was carried by the Hell Lifelings, feeling the pain of losing one of his wings.

That blow from Qhava had been decisive enough to separate one of his seraphim wings not only from his body but also from his soul. The way he was now, he wouldn't be able to recover unless he progressed to the next stage.

With his soul and physique greatly weakened by the attack he had endured from Qhava, he was in a very bad way and needed to rest and be helped by a specialist as soon as possible.

As soon as the Hell Lifelings reached a safer place, Ruth shut herself away to meditate and recover her powers to their peak, being the only one who could help Minos now.

Meanwhile, Abby and Gloria stayed by his side, helping him with what little they could do, planning his escape from Tanus.

Abby said, "They'll be after us in no time. Let's just take care of Minos' worst injuries and get back to our spaceship."

"Where are we going now?" Gloria asked.

"We're going to Forfex's planet. There we'll find what he left for Minos, and the journey there will be enough for Minos to recover. Perhaps this last bit of help left by Forfex will allow us to stand a chance against the Devils."

Minos listened to them and in the midst of his pain, said, "Before we left Hell earlier, I saw something. We need to get to the planet of Forfex, but when we get there, we'll need to pass through Hell again. Something I still don't understand for sure is going to happen, and this will help us somehow."
