Titan Rising Online: World Breaker

Chapter 237 237: Part 1: The Mining Colony III

Cole rounded a corner and came face to face with a trio of miners, the fact that they had a young girl pushed up against a wall while their hands roamed allover her body, and her pants were halfway down her thighs, was enough to bring him to a screeching halt, and him stopping was enough to make all of them stop too. This place was a lot worse than was originally advertised.

From what he had just seen, this place was a bloody fucking cesspool of filth and debauchery, but then again who would be so careless as to leave their kid to fall prey to bastards like this. The tears pouring down from her eyes was enough to let Cole know that this wasn't something that she was okay with, and those eyes, taking on and noticing the fa t that he was looking a lot different than anybody else here, was pleading with him, and then her eyes moved, and Cole followed it to find an older boy who was bleeding from his sides…. If medical help was not rendered the boy would be dead soon.

*Bang!*

The first of rapist fell to the ground a hole in his skull as his compatriots rushed to react, one of them even going so far as to pull the girl in front of him, while the third turned around to run. *BANG! *BANG* the one running took a bullet to the spine and then another to the back of his skull as he was going down, Cole's aim impeccable as he could not help but praise himself a little bit. He had paralyzed the man before ending him a second later….perhaps he should incorporate that into his shots with his revolvers.

"STOP! Stay right there! If you make a move I will bash her head in! Who are you! Fuck! you killed my brother! Stay away! Murder! Murder! Help! Somebody help!" Cole raised his eyebrow at the scene in front of him, the guy had his pants at his ankles and his now very shrunk and unimpressive member swinging around in fright while he dragged the girl up, forcing her to stand on her tip toes due to his height and how he was pulling her up. Never the less they were both indecently exposed and Cole was seeing things he did not care for.

"Just die fucker!" *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG* Every shot that Cole made from when he first shot at his exposed foot, the bullet going through the girls pants at her hip, skimming her skin to blast the tip off, he had not stopped shooting. The gun did not even have time to scream when the next bullet took him in the right knee, and the next in the left shoulder. The next one took him in the right chest, going straight through his lungs before Cole left the final bullet in his face, right through the bridge of his nose.

The girl crashed down to the ground, crying as she scooted back from Cole. He did not touch her as he crossed the distance to where the older boy was. His eyes were dilated and his breathing was weak. This would take some valuable time of his schedule but everything, every instinct he had was telling him to save this boy. Why? He had no idea but it has never steered him wrong before.

The things Cole could do with his abilities if he just set his mind to it were amazing. Like he had done before with Tehilla, it was just a matter of siphoning energy from his body to the boy and using the [Demonic Constitution] skill as a template to do so. His wounds were restored in the blink of an eye as Cole felt suddenly woozy and stumbled to the side, only for the boy to stretch out a hand and catch him, helping to steady Cole as he raised his head up to meet the Gaze of a Raen Spawn.

Cole scoffed in amusement, he had forgotten about that. Transferring his energy to someone was as good as turning that person into what he was. But Cole did not have time to dwell on it, he had things to do so he quickly gave the boy and his sister directions to his ship and asked Morgan who was already 70% done with hacking the colony's system to lead them there using a series of decommissioned signs to do so. Cole was still on the hunt as it is. He'll check in on the kids later.

He continued on, putting on speed as he parkour his way through various turns, but the evil be saw with the kids was no isolated incident. But Cole could not save everybody, at least not right now, he had to at least stick to the plan to a certain level before he would be able to do anything, and that meant securing Cassandra's and her son's safety. He rounded a corner as massive security doors showed in in front of him, with the words <Docking Bay III> spray painted in ugly red paint over the rusted door. The miners in front of the door noticed him before he noticed them, but they were confused about who he was, but on the other hand he was not.

[Vertigo]

Cole could use his skills, but he could not push them past a certain level, and his skills that could really break reality, like his movement and teleportation skills could not really be brought to bear at the moment. He needed to be stronger for that as usage of those skills would cause a massive strain on him, and would take him out of the fight earlier. Never the less, [Vertigo] did exactly what Cole wanted it to do.

Most of the miners bent over and disgorged their stomach's content, while some with much sterner stomachs stumbled around. They were all off their feet and Cole was not particularly inclined into killing every miner he came across, he had to do things smarter. But ultimately he still had to take them out of the equation, once the skill duration is over, they would be back in the game after a short rest, Cole had to deal with them and he had to do it now.
