Chapter 255: Lower Cosmos Nezarex, Proper Path Alliance' Executives Meeting
Chapter 255: Lower Cosmos Nezarex, Proper Path Alliance' Executives Meeting
What Astral did was shocking, to say the least. Something like this has never happened as far as the people of the city remember.
Such a huge massacre alerted all top forces, including Proper Path Alliance.
Aleron was watching the news while sitting in a pub.
Supreme-rank powerhouses of various forces had gathered at the destroyed building, trying to find any trails or hints to follow Astral.
Naturally, it was impossible for anyone to track Astral and Aleron, who had space and time at their beck and call.
All connections between them were severed for others.
Astral was a figure completely unknown and came out of nowhere, wreaking havoc and destruction in the wake.
Looking at the people talking about the incident and people siding with those who died, Aleron coldly smiled.
It was presented as such that Astral was some kind of Supreme-rank powerhouse who had gone insane.
This caused most of the people to get scared, and everyone wanted to quickly find that mysterious person and kill him.
Lilisa was also there, along with other Supreme-rank powerhouses, Prosper Path Alliance. "Elder Markenz, weren't you affiliated with this place?" Lilisa asked as she turned to a Transcendent-rank member of the Alliance branch in this city.
"Yes, acting Branch Master," Elder Markenz nodded. "It was an order from Supreme Liyung Rose."
"This is strange. According to the witnesses and those that survived, they were forcefully teleported out of the hotel, and a barrier was placed after that," Lilisa said as her eyes showed confusion. "This is not how a maddened Supreme rank works."
"He came here with a clear goal," a white-robed man with a white beard said as he approached them. "He killed those he wanted to kill and spared those he wanted to spare."
"White Hill Master Yorai, if I remember correctly, you were in conflict with this Star-High Entertainment Tree, right?" Elder Markenz narrowed his eyes. "Perhaps you know who did this?"
White Hill Master Yorai's expression changed, a mixture of fear and anger, "It's true that I was in conflict with them because of their vile deeds. I have tried to stop them, but given the backing this place had, there was no way I could do anything!"
Lilisa raised her eyebrows, "What vile deeds?"
"There is a secret menu for the premium customers there," Yorai said with an ugly expression. "They serve babies of various races, cooked into food dishes."
Lilisa was taken aback, "Is that true?" she turned to Elder Markenz.
"It is true," Elder Markenz calmly said. "But this was approved by Supreme Liyung Rose."
"If my information is right, they have a whole lower cosmos as their breeding farm. They capture babies and kids of various races from there and put them in prison under the ground," Yorai said as he pointed his finger at a place. "You should know now why there's a huge hall with prison chambers there."
Lilisa's stomach churned.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"It looks like someone was angry with that and decided to destroy it," Lilisa muttered. Turning to Elder Markenz, she indifferently said, "I won't be taking part in this manhunt. You can do that if you want to."
Elder Markenz was calm, and he simply took out a crystal, "I just got an order passed down from Supreme Liyung Rose after I informed her of this incident."
The crystal shone before it produced a hologram of a beautiful woman with dark red hair, dark green marks in her eyes, and wearing a layered kimono-like dress but a bit different.
"Acting Branch Master Lilisa, I order you to use the full force of the Alliance branch in that city to find the culprit. Don't let me catch you lacking in effort for this manhunt."
Lilisa could only obey, her expression deadpan and flat as she nodded, "Understood." White Hill Master Yorai shook his head with a defeated expression and simply left, his voice entering Lilisa's ears.
'I can feel that you do not like this as well. But Supreme Liyung Rose is one of the ten divine seats in the alliance. It's impossible to stop this.'
Lilisa clenched her fist tightly, but what Master Yorai said was true.
10 Divine Seats, the top most powerful Supreme rank of the Alliance.
Liyung Rose was the matriarch of the Crimson Rose House, a powerful organization in the 9th Upper Cosmos.
Based on modern world terms, this organization could be termed Mafia, Triad, or Syndicate, a huge network of all pieces of trash gathered from various upper cosmos. It was fearful throughout hundreds of Upper Cosmos as they took money and resources in exchange for helping various forces.
9th Upper Cosmos had another strong force, a stronger force than Crimson Rose House, but it strongly opposed the Proper Path Alliance's plan, so it was completely destroyed.
Crimson Rose House rose using this opportunity and helping the Alliance secure the 9th Upper Cosmos, and due to its power increasing even more, with Liyung Rose being a peak Supreme-rank, she secured a position among the ten Divine Seats.
...
Aleron chugged a wine glass as he turned away from the useless news.
His eyes faintly flickered as he synchronized his vision with Astral through the space-time continuum.
Around two thousand Ascension-rank powerhouses joined in this operation from his world. With the entirety of resources in one bag, and everyone getting an opportunity, the speed of progress and competition was producing powerhouses faster in Rexian Lower Cosmos. Astral had already made sure that no portals would open up in this lower cosmos. With Rexian's will by his side, they first discovered this lower cosmos' will that was sealed. Naturally, Astral had to completely seal off his powers to enter the lower cosmos, becoming peak Ascension rank.
If he displayed even a spec of power that indicated power above Ascension-rank, the default cosmic laws would immediately eject him from the lower cosmos.
[Aleron: Don't get excited only to get ejected. You need to be here to block the portals from
forming.]
[Astral: Yes, sir, yes! I will not disappoint you, commander!]
[Gachapi: This kid seemed to have assumed some kind of identity in his first mission.]
[Astral: Shut up, I am the strongest soldier under Commander Master!]
[Gachapi: Yes, yes, good work. Now continue, and don't make any mistakes.]
It wasn't long before Astral and Rexian unsealed this lower cosmos' will.
"Thank you for freeing me...the children of my world are suffering too much, and I could only watch, sigh... I, Nezarex, will do anything you say as long as you help this world and its
people, I beg of you."
This cosmos will appear to be middle-aged with a unique black-red outfit and strange neo- black-red colored digitized patterns on its beak.
It was like a futuristic mix of crow, eagle, and humanoid in the mix with some cyber tech.
Astral grinned and said, "Don't worry, everything's going to be fine. We'll start by destroying the enemies stationed here."
Rexian nodded as he opened a portal connecting to his lower cosmos. "Once we free the people, we'll send them to my cosmos. I have prepared several big planets."
After all, once Astral left, the force handling this operation would get Nezarex Lower Cosmos's location again. It was impossible to escape from them.
Lower cosmoses were in the lower plane, appearing like orbs to the forces in the Upper
Cosmos.
They had Nezarex Lower Cosmos' details, and they could trace the kind of unique aura belonging to Nezarex Lower Cosmos since each lower cosmos was different due to their Cosmos Will's influence.
The only way to save people of this cosmos was to send them to the Rexian lower Cosmos.
...
Aleron watched as Astral and residents of his lower cosmos and Midworld who had reached Ascension-rank attacked at once.
With Nezerax's help, who could overlook his entire cosmos and knew the position of all enemies, they directly teleported there so that Nezarex would open and kill the enemies while
freeing people.
The operation was swift.
The only Ascension-rank powerhouses in this cosmos belonged to the people of the Upper
Cosmos.
The natives of this cosmos were suppressed for over a hundred years, and the strongest among them was only allowed to reach Exceed-rank lifeform.
The reason was simple: upon reaching Exceed-rank lifeform, one would undergo fundamental changes and awaken their Bloodlines.
Bloodlines affected their descendants as they would be born with a Bloodline, making them
more delicious.
It was clear that Liyung Rose had made this breeding farm way before Proper Path Alliance
had formed.
With the natives suppressed at Exceed-rank and lower, the Ascension-rank powerhouses she sent could easily rule over the whole lower cosmos after sealing the Cosmos Will.
But with over two thousand Ascension-rank powerhouses attacking each of their breeding farm planets one by one, with their communication blocked, and portals from the upper cosmos restricted, it wasn't long before the mission was completed.
Within twenty-one hours of non-stop action, Astral and other people had killed every single enemy presented, freed all the people, and sent them to the Rexian Lower Cosmos!
...
1st Upper Cosmos, Executives Meeting.
The twenty seats in this room at the big round table were all filled except for one.
A curly blond-haired elf with dark skin and demonic horns entered and filled the last of the
twenty seats.
These twenty people were executives of ten Divine Seats, all of them were also Supreme-rank.
"We have sealed the cosmos wills of the lower cosmos that managed to resist in the previous batch, but we have one minor problem," the mix-breed Blondy said before narrowing his eyes, "We couldn't open our portal in that cosmos."
Several people raised their eyebrows while one of the others spoke, she was a pure human
with a sharp and cold aura around her, "That's rather strange, Dartin. If I remember correctly, the lower cosmos can't block our portals."
"Correct, which means there's a strong powerhouse in Upper Cosmos or Chaosverse who has high mastery in space-time to completely prevent any portal from forming," Dartin said with a nod as he glanced at others, "What should we do about that? Ignore that one or do
something about it?"
