Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 428

Chapter 428

Keith smiled as he arrived inside the underground garage of the Manor and found it filled with a variety of cars.

Hermes was seemingly quite fond of the British Auto-Makers as the garage was mostly filled with Bentley, Rolls Royce, McLaren, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Range Rover. And Keith knew that the Messenger God was a true car enthusiast.

"Pick one." He turned to look at the lady by his side, who was gaping at all those colourful and stunning cars that surrounded them, and hearing his words, she became a little nervous.

"I don't know anything about cars..." She meekly said, blushing a little. She looked adorable in that long, floral, red dress that he had made her wear tonight, and he could see the excitement in her eyes as she looked forward to going out with him.

"It's fine. Pick one." He smiled at her, causing her to blush some more, and then she curiously looked around the garage.

It took her more than a minute to look at everything, and then she nervously glanced at him.

"Which is your favourite, Master?"

Keith smiled at her, not answering, and then she changed her question.

"Which is the most fun?" She genuinely asked, and he could not help but chuckle.

"Clever." He walked over to her and grabbed her hand, leading her to the Eastern Section where a couple of cars were parked. "This is the most fun."

Fiona looked at the shiny, teal-coloured car with golden rims and interior, and could not help but admit that it looked rather elegant and graceful.

"Is it special?" She curiously asked, finally noticing that this car, along with its partner, was parked away from the rest.

"Yes." Keith nodded to her. "This is Koenigsegg Gemera, and it was an engineering marvel of its time. And even after years, it is still the most coveted car in the world. In total, the Swedish Auto-Maker made 300 of these Cars, and out of these 300 cars, 10 cars were even more special because of their custom interiors and special perks. This model, right here, is model 1." He pointed at the car in front of them, specifically at the place where the number was etched. "I own models 6 and 9 and they are at the Manor in Sameran."

"Is it fast?" She curiously asked.

"Yes. 2300PS." He smiled as he walked over to the car and took out the key that was placed inside the small wall-mounted vault. "It is fast enough."

Fiona blushed as she watched him open the door for her, and then she obediently sat inside the passenger seat.

"Iseul is not coming with us?" She asked when she watched Keith take the driving seat and close the doors.

"She will take the Jesko Absolut." He pointed at the chilli-red coloured car next to them and then smiled at her. "Ready?"

She curiously nodded her head but understood what he meant when he fired up the engine and she felt the raw power of it.

Even though she had not experienced its speed yet, she knew now that this car was ridiculously fast.

As soon as they exited the estate and Keith pressed on the accelerator, she could not help the excited laugh that erupted from her tummy, and when he playfully drifted across the curve, she screamed in panic before starting to laugh merrily.

The sun had already sunk, and all that remained of it was the faint red hue in the sky. It was a beautiful evening in Hangzhou, and Fiona sneaked glances at him from time to time, blushing like a young maiden in love.

Keith and Iseul played around with each other, overtaking one another as they raced towards their destination, and the one who was having the most fun was the lady in the passenger seat.

They exited the city and headed towards the West Lake, and after half an hour, they reached a section where they got off the main road and took the restricted road that led towards the hills.

They passed by several checkpoints on their way, but the security allowed them to enter the venue without stopping them, mostly because of the cars they were inside.

It was clear that they were here for the event.

However, they were stopped at the final checkpoint, and Keith cooperated with them as they registered their names, and the specifications of their vehicles, and checked their IDs.

It took them more than five minutes to go through the procedures, and after the security and management were done registering the details, they apologised for the inconvenience and wished them a fun night.

When they finally arrived at the scene, Fiona panicked a little at seeing the crowd that was gathered there.

There were easily hundreds of cars parked inside the lots next to the hiking trails, and everywhere she looked, she found people, laughing, flirting, checking out cars, or just talking with each other.

"Hangzhou is one of the world's most famous destinations for street racing. And tonight is the start of the Summer Fest, one of the four key events of the year..." Keith informed her and gave her some more details about the event.

Fiona was quite uncomfortable with the eyes of the people who turned to look at them when they passed by, and though she knew that their attention was directed towards the cars, she still felt bothered.

"Don't worry. The crowd won't approach us." Keith smiled and said.

As soon as he finished his words, two security vehicles signalled to them and then started leading them to the Eastern Lot, where there were not many people, and where they found their parking spots.

There were screens on the parking meters, and they could see the images of their cars on them, which meant that these spots had already been reserved for them as soon as they had registered back at the checkpoint.

Fiona could not help but smile when she got out of the car and was greeted by the beautiful view of the West Lake from the height.

It was already nighttime now, but the yellow lights along the road did make the lake look beautiful, and she found the reflection of the moon a little surreal.

"So, do you like it?" Keith asked as he came to stand next to her, and Fiona happily nodded her head.

"It's a nice place."

Their attention soon turned to the car that entered the parking lot, and its metallic red colour, coupled with its eye-catching design, even intrigued Fiona.

"That's Ferrari F25 Ultimate. One of the 101 cars of its kind in the world." Keith told her and smiled because he knew who this car belonged to.

A beautiful girl with back hair exited the vehicle, and her hair fluttered under the gust of the wind.

She looked at Keith, frowned at Fiona, and then glanced at Iseul before walking up to them.

"Thank you for coming." She half-heartedly greeted him and then curiously looked at their cars. "You own them?"

"No, I stole them." Keith grinned at her, and despite herself, Fiona could not help her giggles.

Feifei looked at Fiona again, quite sure that she had never seen this woman before with Keith in the pictures that were available on the internet, and her stare made the Irish girl a little restless.

"Good evening, Miss." Fiona politely bowed to her in a greeting. "I am Master Demiliore's Maid." She introduced herself, and Feifei looked at her in surprise.

"You are his maid?" She asked in disbelief and curiously looked at Fiona again when the girl nodded her head. "Does he mistreat you?" She bluntly asked, and Iseul, who was leaning against the Jesko, working on her tablet, giggled at her question.

"No, no." Fiona immediately shook her head, a little panicked at the question. "Master has never mistreated me." She honestly answered, and Feifei seemed to sense her honesty.

"Okay." The little Miss Wei smiled and then drew her hand forward. "I am Wei Feifei. It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Wei." Fiona shook her hand with a smile and then watched the girl look at Iseul.

"I am his slave." The Korean girl bluntly told her, even before she could ask any question, and Feifei was stunned by her words.

"You are his Shadow?" She curiously asked after composing herself, but saw Isuel shake her head and then put the tab inside the car.

Iseul always looked quite cute when she wore her glasses, which she did not really need, and when she happily approached Feifei and drew her hand forward, putting up her happy-go-lucky persona, she never expected that Feifei would not fall for it.

"Hi! I am Iseul!"

"Wei Feifei." It was clear by how brief the greeting and handshake were that the Princess of Wei Family had sensed something dark from the girl, and it was visibly making her uncomfortable.

Iseul narrowed her at her behaviour, and when she glanced at her Master and saw him nod to her, she genuinely became curious about the new acquaintance.

She had mistaken Feifei as some normal girl, but it seemed to be not the case.

"Let's talk." The little Miss Wei impatiently looked at Keith, and he smiled at her.

"Let's warm up the tyres, shall we?" He invited her to sit in the passenger seat of his Gemera and then nodded to Fiona, who understandingly sat with Iseul inside the Jesko.

The two cars left the Parking Lot to familiarise themselves with the track, and as soon as they started climbing on the hills, Feifei spoke up about what was on her mind.

"She's an assassin, isn't she?" She asked, and Keith knew that she was referring to Iseul.

"Why do you think so?" He feigned some curiosity, but the girl refused to answer him and changed the subject.

"What do you want?" She asked and frowned when she heard him chuckle.

"Depends on what you need me to help you with tonight." He told her.

"Can you race?" She sceptically asked and panicked a little when he suddenly pressed the accelerator and the car came to life.

It only took a minute for Feifei to understand that he could drive, and he could drive ridiculously well.

"I want you to beat Wang Zemin in the race tonight."

"And what good would that do?"

"You will be representing my Team." She told him about the bets that were going to be put in place, and how she planned on humiliating him. "And you will have to pretend to be my boyfriend." She nervously added the last words but relaxed when she glanced at him and found him focusing on the road.

"Do you realise its repercussions?" He finally asked, quite serious about what she was suggesting.

"Yes." She nodded. "I want Wang Zemin to give up any idea about me, and I want to make sure that my family gives up any ideas of discussing my engagement. And if Wang Zemin thinks that I am with you, he will hesitate about bothering Rouxi in the future."

Keith knew very well that she was only asking him for this favour since she could sense that he held no ill will towards her. And then there was the fact that she could sense the connection between them, and it was making her restless.

"Fine." He agreed, not pointing out the flaws in her plans or asking for more details, and he smiled when he heard her sigh of relief.

"Thank you." She sincerely said and then glanced at him. "What do you want in return?"

"We will discuss it later." He brushed it off, and she narrowed her eyes at him.

"I won't do anything I am not comfortable with and won't let you take advantage of me. If have any such ideas, let me know now, and I will find someone else to help me with my problems."

"I won't harm you." He chuckled, and she frowned at his words before nodding to him and sinking back into her seat.

"Can you go faster?"

"Of course." He laughed as he pressed the accelerator, and Feifei's heart nearly jumped into her throat when they drifted down the hills.

She did not remember the last time she had so much fun in a car.
