"We can't split up otherwise that thing will gain an advantage.... now stop making a fuss and let go," replied Ji Yao trying again to separate from Rui Fei but who would have thought he would keep up with his stubborn act.

Rui Fei leaned in close with the tip of their noses touching. "Yao-ge, are you afraid other people will see me naked? I assure you my heart only beats for you so you don't have to worry," he said in a teasing tone while gazing into his eyes. This calculated move had an obvious meaning. He was establishing his territory to get back at Xiaoyu.

He needed her to know that no matter what trick she had under her sleeve this man belonged to him. If she couldn't understand this body language then her IQ will be called to question.

Ji Yao moved his head backwards his expression serious but an obvious tint of red was visible around his ears. "Mn, now let go."

"If I let go do you promise you won't leave me behind?" asked Rui Fei his expression a little serious than before. It seemed he had recalled the unpleasant feeling of Ji Yao leaving him behind and he didn't want to experience that ever again.

Ji Yao could sense his uneasiness so he placed his hand on top of Rui Fei's reassuringly as he nodded his head. There were no words to describe how he was feeling right now. To sum it all up in one, he both liked and disliked what was happening here.

He felt upset that Rui Fei was not taking this situation seriously but he was also feeling a little giddy flirting with him though he pretty much would appreciate it if they were in private. At least then he can get a kiss as compensation.

Rui Fei reluctantly let go and Ji Yao helped him sit on the ground before taking out a robe from his storage ring. Because he didn't want anyone else looking at Ji Yao's mouth-watering physique lest they get any ideas he picked the nearest robe and draped it around his shoulders.

Everyone, "....."

Rui Li, "Wuwuwu dage, this is not the place to get married! You can do it after we get out of this shitty place, Ai!"

She yelped out at the end because Rui Yewan pinched her before reprimanding her, "Stay out of it."

"Ah..... but he is wearing a red robe. I can't help it," she whispered while struggling to contain her happiness. This sugary sweetness had somehow cured the pain and fear she felt from the nightmare earlier. This live-action was the perfect cure for a grim soul.

Unfortunately, Xiaoyu didn't see it that way. It was as though she was reliving the nightmare all over again the only difference being that she didn't accidentally beat Ji Yao half to death. A seed of hate was swiftly taking root in her heart as she lay eyes on her beloved draping a red robe over someone else.

Her heart was slowly blackening and the sad part was that she was slow to realise this fact. Unable to watch this scene anymore she turned to walk away fuming in anger. She wanted to get as far away as possible from this place but she was also afraid.

If that creature came back for her a second time she might not survive. Standing neither far nor near she vented her anger on the defenceless rocks lying nearby. She imagine they were Rui Fei crushing them to dust. She loved Ji Yao so much and couldn't accept that he loved someone else. Her inability to accept this fact would undoubtedly lead to a lot of trouble in the future.

While Xiaoyu was increasing her blackening value Ji Yao pretended like he hadn't heard anything and seriously fixed the robe on Rui Fei's shoulders. Ignoring it though didn't mean that he wasn't embarrassed. He was still as thin-faced as before but he tried to hold back and not show his emotions on his face.

He took a step back and stood there waiting for Rui Fei to wear the robe but it seemed the two weren't on the same page. Rui Fei was thinking Ji Yao would dress him while Ji Yao on the other hand didn't see the need to do that. He had already been exposed to his fair share of embarrassment and that was enough for one day.

Since Ji Yao took a step back, Rui Fei glanced up at him and asked, "Isn't Yao-ge going to help me?"

"Are your arms broken?" asked Ji Yao with his hands behind his back to prevent himself from reaching over to fix Rui Fei's clothes for him.

Itching to tease Ji Yao he lowered his head seeming aggrieved and said, "You are the one who is bothered by it so why should I do it," while watching Ji Yao at the corner of his eye.

Ji Yao had already figured out Rui Fei's gameplay the moment he said it. He responded the most natural way a person could respond in this situation which was to turn on his heels and walk away.

Seeing this, Rui Fei's arms seemed cured as he hurried to put on the robe yelling, "Wait, wait, wait..... Yao-ge you promised. Look I am doing it, now don't go."

Ji Yao who had just won a small victory smirked before turning back to wait for him. As soon as Rui Fei was done getting dressed he stretched out his hands and Ji Yao pulled him up. The only problem was that once he was up Rui Fei was extremely handsy. His hands held either side of Ji Yao's waist pulling him closer till their bodies were plastered together.

"Okay, the show is over. Let's go," said Rui Yewan before pulling his sister by the back of her collar. This was an easy task because she was stuck in a stupor with a nose bleed. After witnessing such a sultry sight how could she stay calm?

Xunshi Zhe wiped the sweat off his forehead as he said to Big Hei, "Why is this picture so um... what's the word..... uh...."

"Hot..... Aiyo.....ai," interjected the gold-digging crew member before he was ruthlessly smacked upside his head by Big Hei.

"Go make yourselves useful elsewhere," he said before urging them to move away from this R-rated scene like he was shooing away chickens.

No one wanted their eyes to go blind from all that dog food so they moved away giving these two some space. As soon as they were gone Rui Fei's mischief was intensified. He leaned closer and said, "They are all gone so... how about... a kiss," before seductively biting his lower lip his eyes as bright as pearls.

"Play possum again and I will kiss you," replied Ji Yao with a slight smile on his face that he couldn't suppress.

Rui Fei, "...." before shrugging it off and laying his head limply on Ji Yao's shoulders, "ready when you are."

Ji Yao, "WTF"

How did he even fall for such a person? That's a question we all want to know the answer to?
