Voyage With The Pirate King

They say a chain is as strong as its weakest link and the weakest link in this chain was Xiaoyu. She was blinded by jealousy which meant her state of mind right now was easily swayed into doing things that pushed her moral boundaries.

From where she stood she could clearly see Ji Yao half kneeling on the ground with Rui Fei's boots on his thigh as he took it off. The look on Ji Yao's face was unreadable but his eyes clearly showed his affection for Rui Fei. Ji Yao would never do such a thing for anyone in his crew even Ji Wen might not get this kind of special treatment if he was injured.

Ji Yao would order someone else to take care of it and he would only handle things himself if there was no one else around. But for this Rui Fei, he half knelt on the ground and removed his shoes for him to examine his injuries. How could she not guzzle down a ton of vinegar?

She knew watching them will just infuriate her further but she couldn't take her eyes off them. She wasn't even aware that she was digging her nail into the stone wall cutting her fingertip with the sharp edges of the rock.

Ji Yao checked on Rui Fei's leg turning it over a couple of times while mumbling something. Rui Fei smiled as he pointed at a spot complaining. Then Ji Yao massaged the part with his thumb before reaching out to take out a porcelain bottle from his storage ring. He gently massaged that ointment on Rui Fei's leg with a serious expression like he was afraid to hurt him.

Xiaoyu's eyes reddened as she swallowed down her grievances. For more than two years, two freaking years she did everything possible to get Ji Yao to notice her. Not as a junior he rescue but as a girl with feelings but all those years count for shit in Rui Fei's presence.

The moment he stepped on Red Bane all that goodwill counted for nothing. Ji Yao could only see Rui Fei in his eyes leaving room for no one else. This entire crew knew about their relationship but didn't even bother to tell her. They watched her make a fool of herself all this time. They probably laughed at her behind her back as they watched her pursue him relentlessly.

She even thought Rui Fei was interested in her at some point. When he held her hand stopping her from following Rui Li and the time he ate the cake she had made which she meant to feed Ji Yao she thought that was him being jealous and showing his interest in her.

Plenty of times Rui Fei had interrupted their conversations and the two had even fought. At that time she had thought they were fighting over her but it turned out they were fighting because of her. They weren't courting her but each other and she was in the dark the entire time. These two had made a complete fool out of her.

Now that she knew the true, the thought of letting go never crossed her mind. She liked Ji Yao first so why should she be the one to let go? Even if she decided to let it go she couldn't.

Her love for Ji Yao ran so deep that she had to have him no matter what. Her feelings for him was dangerously crossing the threshold towards an obsessive kind of love that never end well especially when one party is not interested.

Because of her crazed emotions, her guard towards her surroundings was not as good anymore. She was so focused on this pair of lovers that she didn't notice the dark presence near her. The creature took advantage of her weakness and grabbed her before the both of them vanished into thin air.

Xiaoyu was thrown to the ground harshly but before she could retaliate her entire body became stiff. From a distance, she could see a hazy figure pacing up and down while talking to itself in a barely audible voice.

"We should just eat her. Why waste our time doing this?"

"If we eat her we might not be able to eat the rest and get what we want,"

"She will never agree. Look at her..... She is a disgusting love-struck fool, she won't benefit us,"

"Unless we give her what she wants... we can lose two meals than gain only one. We let her and her lover go then eat the others. We can also use her to get the stones and go home to find a mate,"

"No, no it's risky,"

"We have to take some risks if we want to succeed. Believe me...,"

"She will betray us,"

"We keep her like this while we take her place. Kill her enemy then offer her a deal in exchange for the stones... but what happens after we get the stones is no longer our concern,"

"Oh, what a vile plan.... hehehe. You should have said that from the beginning,"

"When would I get the chance to say it when you say no before I can even explain?"

"Now hurry before they find out she is gone..... hehehe I can't wait."

As soon as this weird conversation ended, a woman's figure began to take form as the shadow strode towards Xiaoyu. A perplexed Xiaoyu could only watch on in confusion as she lay frozen on the ground.

The creature stopped in front of her and stepped on her chest with a beautiful long leg that could milk billionaires out of their wealth. Xiaoyu's gaze slowly travelled up to the figure's face and almost got a heart attack.

The person who looked a hundred per cent similar to her flicked her emerald hair as she asked, "Haha, how do we look.... We look gorgeous don't we?"

The creature leaned down and closed Xiaoyu's mouth while saying, "Close your mouth darling, we wouldn't want flies getting in there, do we?" in a voice similar to hers. When it leaned down the slit of its partially fastened robe opened showing a pair of long legs that could have men drooling. Its hoochie was even visible from Xiaoyu's angle.

"Tsk, tsk it's a shame you have such a gorgeous body but don't know how to use it. Let this big sister help you," adjusting her jugs that seemed twice the size of Xiaoyu's.

Xiaoyu, "What the fuck."

The creature placed its hands on either side of its hips as it reprimanded her. "That language is so unladylike. No wonder he doesn't like you. You are rude, conservative and don't take risks.. Love is a risky business, darling," it said before taking its leg off her chest and walking a short distance away messing with its hair with its back facing Xiaoyu.
