Chapter 293 - The Word Of The Day Is Stubborn
After his conversation with Qilin Kai, he knew that the relationship between the Qilin and Huishe wasn't simple. Even Huishe Yue expressed his disapproval at first. Their relationship was stamped with the label 'doomed to fail' from the very beginning and he knew that.
But Ji Yao wasn't the type to wait for death. This brings us to the other reason why he personally went after the keystones. He didn't like the idea that something that could ruin his love life was hanging around somewhere waiting for some ambitious person to find it. If he could figure it out then someone else will eventually figure it out as well.
So he took the initiative and wanted to destroy these things so that the threat hanging over his head is eliminated. Yes, he was also selfish especially when it came to matters of the heart. But until his plans came to fruition he didn't want to put a permanent marker just as yet.
Now he realises that he might have gone all the way with Rui Fei in the dream and because it wasn't actually a dream in the end he would have basically taken that final step and there was no turning back at that point.
He was both angry and sad at this moment but he had no words to express his rage clearly. In truth, he wasn't one who used words when upset. He was that kind that used fists which is why the crew would duck down when he was mad.
But for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to express his rage like before towards Rui Fei. He could only say what came from his heart and glare at the culprit who was at a loss for words.
Rui Fei only knew how to run when it came to having a conflict with Ji Yao. He wanted to give Ji Yao some space to calm down then come back and apologize as well as coax. This was the best strategy right now so he said, "Yao-ge, I was wrong. I was selfish and wasn't patient enough, I... I should go and we can talk about this when you have calmed down, okay?"
As he said this he felt an inexplicable chill run down his back like a sharp-edged shard of ice was being stabbed down his spine. Ji Yao's ice grew colder and colder by the second. He waited for this cub to correct his words but the cub didn't. Instead, Rui Fei got up and attempted to flee.
For a moment it seemed like he had succeeded but just as he touched the handle an explosive flash struck the edge of Red Bane almost blowing a hole into its hull. Rui Fei panicked and hurriedly turned the knob when a loud crackling sound of a whip was heard before his ankle was caught and he was dragged back like cattle in a slaughterhouse.
Rui Fei expected his skin to be scorched off but apart from an itchy feeling on his ankle, there was nothing else. It seemed Ji Yao really couldn't bring himself to hurt him. Feeling like the biggest jerk in the entire universe he turned around only to find Ji Yao crouching down on top of him.
Ji Yao wore a grin so malicious like that of a villain as his fingers brushed against Rui Fei's cheek and said, "You want to leave?... Try it again and see what happens, I dare you."
This threat was clear and concise that any normal person wouldn't dare move an inch but Rui Fei hearing this felt a little excited. Weird scenarios raced through his mind as he stared into those enchanting eyes. What sort of weird scenarios? Well, let me enlighten you.
Scenario one, Ji Yao whips his clothes off to shreds and throws him to the bed before tying him down then some r-rated scenes not suitable for children would commence.
In scenario two, Ji Yao pins him against the door and restrains him in place before going down on his knees and undressing him before taking on his hard member into his mouth.
Two scenarios, both leading to a happy ending but unfortunately for him, Ji Yao was so mad right now that makeup sex was the last thing on his mind. As expected, when Ji Yao saw that familiar expression on his face he said, "What are you thinking about?"
Rui Fei who had been caught with his mind slipping into the gutter blinked with a foolish expression on his face like a student who had been caught passing notes in class and the teacher asked him to read it out loud.
"Uh.... I," said Rui Fei but Ji Yao wasn't patient enough to know what filthy things this cub was thinking.
As though to show Rui Fei how serious he was he said, "If you walk out of that door we are over," before standing up to leave. Defeated, Rui Fei lay on the floor with his limbs sprawled on the ground. The depressive air around him was obvious. When Ji Yao said that it was like something heavy was thrown on his chest keeping him in place. It took everything in him to prevent that vile seed from spreading and blackening his aether.
If he really acts crazy in front of Ji Yao right now and force him things will never be the same between them. He had to calm himself down and clamp the beast otherwise he would lose everything.
Ji Yao who had further destabilised his cub's fragile feelings silently changed his clothes behind the folded screen his emotions in disarray. It hurt saying those words to Rui Fei but he wanted him to stay. If Rui Fei left again like he did before he would surely lose it. He had to forcibly break Rui Fei's habit of running away so he said it. If they were to argue then they would be the couple that still shared the same bed despite being mad at each other.
Ji Yao didn't say anything slipping under the covers with a solemn air surrounding him. He lay on his side stubbornly refusing to look at Rui Fei who was still lying on the floor as though broken.
Did he actually break Rui Fei? What if he really did? He wanted to look but he was also still pissed off so he restrained himself with much difficulty. After too many lightning strikes the dark sky outside accurately depicted his gloomy mood. Heavy rains struck Red Bane hitting the ship in all directions.
Rui Fei stubbornly remained on the floor the entire time making Ji Yao even more concerned. His heart began to waver as he bit his cheek trying to stop himself from opening his mouth. His resilience was under siege and on the verge of breaking.
Lucky for him, he didn't have to break his vow of silence because the cub got up on his own.
