Who Would Fall in Love After Being Reborn?

Chapter 244: I Go Crazy for Abs Training!

Chapter 244: I Go Crazy for Abs Training!

Feng Nanshu didn’t quite grasp the meaning of comfort as represented in the conversation. She looked at Jiang Qin with a naive and bewildered expression.

Seeing this, Jiang Qin took her phone and expressionlessly recounted the events of the previous night. He then hung up before their inquisitive friends could ask more, thereby averting a potentially risqué brainstorming session.

The current female university students are indeed subtly provocative and frightening. They latch onto anything that piques their interest.

“Jiang Qin, I want to sleep a bit more,” Feng Nanshu suddenly said.

“It’s too tiring to sleep here. Let’s go back to the dormitory and rest properly.”

After hearing this, the little rich lady hummed and hawed. She suddenly recalled the feeling of being held while asleep, experiencing an unprecedented sense of security. At this moment, she wasn’t too keen on returning to her dormitory to sleep. She just wanted to nestle into Jiang Qin’s arms.

She kicked her feet and suddenly noticed that her right sock was missing. Her bare, snow-white foot looked crystal clear and immaculate.

“Jiang Qin, my sock is gone.”

“I’ll look for it.”

Jiang Qin stood up, instinctively reaching behind him. His previous experiences had taught him that socks usually ended up behind him. However, this time he couldn’t find it.

Could it have been inadvertently eaten by him in his sleep?

He reached into his pocket, rummaging around before pulling out a white cotton sock adorned with a little bear pattern, and he sighed in relief.

Once the sock was on, the door to the private room opened. Cao Guangyu and the others came in with breakfast, and noticing that both were awake, they couldn’t help but feel curious about the night’s events.

“Jiang, you slept well last night, huh?”

“Yeah, I slept pretty well.”

Jiang Qin answered without a hint of embarrassment or awkwardness, taking a straw to puncture the soy milk and handing it to the little rich lady. There was no trace of discomfort in his demeanor.

Seeing his reaction, the three felt their interest wane.

Damn, Jiang’s skin is really thick.

He claims they’re just friends, yet he spent the night holding her. Waking up, he still maintains an air of righteousness, as if good friends should naturally sleep in each other’s arms, and it’s strange if they don’t.

In a word, absolute.

Cao Guangyu suddenly remembered a TV series titled “The Fairy Couple,” featuring a character named Dong Yong, who had an encounter with the seventh daughter of the Queen Mother. He almost got himself killed because of it.

Old Cao thought, if Dong Yong had Jiang’s bulletproof thick skin, not just the seventh princess but all seven fairies wouldn’t stand a chance. They’d all bear him a chubby son, returning home to leave the Queen Mother speechless with fury.

After a simple breakfast, the five of them left the Golden Finger Internet Cafe and returned to Linchuan University.

The rising sun shone brightly and warmly, scattering its rays through the gaps in the leaves, creating a mottled pattern on the ground. The entire campus was imbued with a sense of hope and strength.

Jiang Qin yawned and slowed down his bike at the entrance of the walkway.

The university’s spring sports meeting was still in progress, with a few final events being fiercely competed. The familiar “March of the Athletes” echoed across the campus.

However, there weren’t many spectators left, as the novelty had worn off. It was the weekend, and people had little interest in watching running and long jump events.

Jiang Qin parked his bike at the girls’ dormitory and sent the little rich lady back before hastily returning to his dormitory to catch up on sleep.

Cao Guangyu, who had played CF all night without a wink of sleep, and Zhou Chao and Ren Zi Qiang, who had slept for less than two hours, were all exhausted.

Logically, Jiang Qin, who had slept all night, should have been the least tired among them. However, he looked even more tired than Cao Guangyu.

There was no help for it. The sofa in the internet cafe was so uncomfortable that it could make a spineless creature like the lazy boss suffer, let alone him, who had slept holding Feng Nanshu. It was already a testament to his good health that he managed to drive back.

Thus, the four of them fell asleep as soon as they hit the bed, and soon the room was filled with the sound of snoring.

But Feng Nanshu wasn’t so lucky. Upon returning to her dormitory, she faced the interrogation of Gao Wenhui and Fan Shuling.

The little rich lady wasn’t sleepy, as she had slept soundly. Her insistence on sleeping a bit more in the morning was just a normal sign of spring fatigue; she was actually quite refreshed.

“So, you went to an internet cafe?”

“Yes, I watched a movie with Jiang Qin. I want to raise a Totoro.”

“Why are you so happy then?”

“Jiang Qin held me while we slept.”

Feng Nanshu’s typically aloof and wealthy demeanor collapsed in an instant, replaced by a naive and joyous one.

Gao Wenhui and Fan Shuling exchanged glances, thinking to themselves that Jiang Qin was truly steadfast. He didn’t cross the line due to impulse, proving himself a true gentleman.

Before long, it was 1 P.M.

After a good sleep, Jiang Qin got up from his bed, dressed, and headed to Room 208.

Su Nai, Shi Miaomiao, and Wei Lanlan were enthusiastically discussing the abs they saw yesterday in the office. However, when Jiang Qin entered, they immediately switched topics to a summary and analysis of yesterday’s group purchase marketing at their store.

Jiang Qin had already heard their discussion in the hallway, each sentence tinged with a hint of excitement. Entering the office and seeing them seriously discussing work matters gave him a sense of returning to his corporate life.

It seemed everyone had matured, now adept at slacking off at work like seasoned veterans.

“Su Nai, could you report to the handsome boss about yesterday’s redemption situation?” Jiang Qin asked.

Pushing her glasses up, Su Nai replied, “Only half of the promotional codes were redeemed. The rest are likely to be used up this weekend.”

Wei Lanlan then asked, “Boss, are we continuing to launch new coupons and package deals today?”

“Let’s release them every other day. Let the stores process the current orders first and adjust to the rhythm. The most important thing is to maintain the excitement around grabbing coupons. A wave of hunger marketing, by controlling the quantity, is key to keeping up the enthusiasm.”

“Got it, boss. I’ll notify our partners to prepare for the next launch,” she responded.

Jiang Qin nodded, “Also, tell them that next weekend we’re planning a bigger event. We’ll stir up students from all four major universities and let the merchants in the city know that last night wasn’t just a one-time event.”

“Understood.”

Jiang Qin sat in his chair, sipping tea while pondering the next phase of the promotion plan.

Manager Bao had already completed the first round of interviews. All candidates would undergo a second interview on Wednesday. After screening, the ones to be hired would be onboarded, and the team for handling social projects would be nearly assembled.

For grassroots promotions, understanding the environment and analyzing different user characteristics and habits in each area was crucial.

Jiang Qin planned to send out the new employees, pairing experienced staff with newcomers, to run around the city for three days.

Of course, where to go and what areas to cover were carefully considered.

The stores signed for group purchases were mostly near Xinghong Avenue, with Wanzhong Mall as the central point.

Jiang Qin intended to use Wanzhong as an anchor, radiating outwards in all directions, first developing the surrounding market.

This strategy was a common approach in promotions, as only region-specific promotions could create a boom in a short time and attract other areas.

Theoretically, it’s like assembling a puzzle.

First, piece together recognizable areas as a reference to connect surrounding sections, making the process more efficient.

“By the way, didn’t you go to the sports field yesterday to join the fun? How were the abs?” Jiang Qin casually inquired.

Su Nai’s eyes lit up instantly, “They looked great, I watched them over and over!”

Shi Miaomiao, a bit shy, couldn’t help but nod, “They were indeed impressive…”

Wei Lanlan added, “Abs really add to the charm, but the school doesn’t allow bare torsos, so it’s rare to see them. However, I think the most attractive thing is the sunny and confident demeanor of athletic guys.”

“Oh, so the abs were that good, did you not go and feel them?”

“How could we, boss, we don’t even know them,” they replied.

Jiang Qin patted his stomach, grinning confidently, “Well then, you work hard, and once I develop an eight-pack, I’ll let you line up to feel.”

Wei Lanlan chuckled, “Let the boss lady feel them first. Once she’s had her fill, then it’s our turn.”

“Young and yet so considerate, Lanlan, you’re great. After the boss lady, you’ll be the first to feel, not Su Nai.”

“I’m not interested,” Su Nai declared seriously, her fingers clacking away on the keyboard.

Jiang Qin was a man of action. Without delay, he grabbed a mat and headed to room 207. He started with side crunches, followed by lying leg crosses, and sit-ups, continuing until he was drenched in sweat.

At that moment, the “March of the Athletes” playing across the campus seemed to stop, signaling the end of Linchuan University’s Spring Sports Meet.

Coincidentally, just as Jiang Qin noticed this, he received a call from Lai Cunqing.

“Boss, our University of Science of Technology is organizing a sports meet. Directors Hu and Zhang have personally come to solicit sponsorship, and they’re right here with me.”

As soon as these words fell, the voice on the phone changed to Hu Maolin’s, “Jiang Qin, you’ve benefited from our project for so long, it’s time to give back to the University of Science and Technology, right?”

Wiping his sweat and standing akimbo, Jiang Qin replied, “Director, I’ll cover all the event boards, protective boards around the field, colored flags around the arena, and all the banners. Plus, I’ll sponsor a batch of fans and add a sponsorship fee of ten thousand yuan.”

“That straightforward?”

“I don’t forget those who help me. I believe in reciprocity.”

“Good lad, I knew I wasn’t wrong about you!”

Director Hu happily hung up, and Jiang Qin returned to Room 208.

“Lanlan, tell the delivery team to collect the boards and flags from the sports field. Don’t waste them. the University of Science and Technology is having their sports meet. Find a time to deliver them, saying it’s our sponsorship.”

“But the PVC boards and the flags around the field all have Linchuan’s logo on them.”

“No problem, we’ll remake the PVC boards and repaint the flags with new designs. Also, order another batch of advertising fans.”

“Okay, boss.”

Jiang Qin stretched lazily, thinking to himself that as long as their sports meets didn’t coincide, he could use one sponsorship four times. This was the square of a win-win situation!
