Huo Yun Chen found that he was unable to stop smiling even after the phone call with his girlfriend had ended.

After talking to Xia Yu for a few minutes could lift up his mood and the motivation to work hard suddenly came.

The smile on his face widened as he recalled the girl's promise to consider moving in with him after he went back to Capital City.

Although Xia Yu did not give him an answer yet, Huo Yun Chen's instinct was telling him that the girl was going to agree.

He turned to a corner and almost bumped into a familiar face.

Huo Yun Chen took a step back to avoid that person and heaved in relief when there was no accident. When he looked up again, his expression turned rigid upon realizing that the other party was no other than his rival, Yan Yi Xie.

"Watch where you are going, idiot." Yan Yi Xie spoke. He did not try to hide the annoyed look on his face.

Huo Yun Chen merely smiled back and apologized. "Sorry. I was in a hurry."

Too lazy to argue with him, Huo Yun Chen quickly stepped aside and rushed to the make-up room. His speed was as if he was avoiding a plague.

After all, he did not want to land in another troublesome situation.

Huo Yun Chen had long figured out that each time he ran into Yan Yi Xie, he would often find himself into trouble.

He only wanted to stay in the entertainment industry doing what he liked. He did not want to spend time scheming. Now that he has been in the industry for years, the most important thing for Huo Yun Chen was to do his best for his fans.

As long as his fan still wanted to see him on the stage, then he would be contented.

Meanwhile, Yan Yi Xie kept his eyes on Huo Yun Chen for a long time until his figure could not be seen again. He lowered his eyes seemingly in deep thought.

"Ah Wei, don't you think that Huo Yun Chen's attitude has been a little strange recently?" Yan Yi Xie asked. He then turned to look at the assistant beside him.

"I don't know," the assistant spoke. "I think he looks pretty much the same."

Yan Yi Xie narrowed his eyes. "Ah Wei, help me to keep an eye on him." His lips suddenly tilted into a smile. "I want to know what he was up to."

Meanwhile in Capital City,

After talking to Huo Yun Chen, Xia Yu made a stop at the restroom before going back to the station. When she returned to the station, Xia Yu picked up a few documents to check on some information.

Nurse Lin walked over and stopped by her side. "Xia Yu, you're finally back."

Xia Yu shot him an inquiring gaze. "Nurse Lin, are you looking for me?"

"It's not me. Just now, the head nurse comes over to look for you. I told her that you were on a toilet break," Nurse Lin said. "The head nurse said, you should go and find her upstairs when you return."

Xia Yu tidied up her desk. "Do you know what it's about?"

Nurse Lin shrugged. "The head nurses did not mention anything. But I think it should be about your job. It might be important."

Hearing his words, Xia Yu became anxious.

It hasn't been a long time since she had returned to the hospital and get her position back. Because of that, Xia Yu knew that she had to work twice as hard so that the others will continue to trust her.

After saying a few words with her colleague, Xia Yu head upstairs to look for the head nurse.

She walked around for a few minutes and finally found the head nurse who had just come out of the director's office.

The head nurse's expression lit up the moment she saw her. "Xia Yu, you're here. I was just talking about you."

Xia Yu walked over and asked, "Head Nurse, I heard that you were looking for me."

The head nurse smiled. She patted Xia Yu's shoulder's twice and spoke, "Come, let's find a quiet space to speak."

Xia Yu nodded and followed the head nurse obediently. Her mind was going wild, thinking of what the head nurse was going to tell her.

However, looking at the head nurse's expression, it shouldn't be anything bad, right?

The two of them finally arrived at the meeting room. The head nurse took a seat and motioned Xia Yu to sit close to her.

"Xia Yu, do you remember that you have applied to pursue your study in F Country?"

Xia Yu nodded.

Previously, she had been accepted into the institution but had to back away because of her injury. The head nurse had said that she could reapply, but Xia Yu still remember that the next application date was a few months away.

The head nurse shouldn't be looking for her to speak about the application...

"It's like this." The head nurse's smile turned brighter. "One of the professors from the institute saw your application and thought that you would surely register. He found out that you could not make it because of your injury and thought that it was such a shame. Early this morning, he spoke to Director Sun and said that he wanted to make an exception."

"Head nurse, what do you mean?"

"He wanted to ask you if you are interested in an internship program for a year," the head nurse spoke. "The director and I have looked at the condition and agreed that it was a great opportunity for you. Xia Yu, if you complete this internship, you will have the chance to get promoted. It's almost the same as joining the course for two years. What do you think?"

The head nurse saw Xia Yu's dazed expression and laughed. "You don't have to give your answer right away.. Xia Yu, you can take your time to consider this offer. "
