You're My Only Star

The sky was already dark but in the west part of Capital City, the atmosphere was still bustling. 

A few luxurious sports cars were seen parked nearby the entrance of a club. On the sidewalk, a thin man walked in a hurry before he entered the club.

Noone stopped him as he was a familiar face. The young man went on the second floor and stopped in front of a door. After knocking on the door, he went into the room and finally found the person he was looking for.

The handsome, young man sat on the sofa surrounded by a few pretty ladies. Yan Yi Xie was smiling brightly as he was enjoying the women's attention on him. However, the moment he saw the thin man, Yan Yi Xie's expression changed.

The assistant, Ah Wei walked over to the celebrity and whispered something. 

A light flashed in Yan Yi Xie's eyes and he immediately send the women out. "Are you sure the news is credible?"

Ah Wei nodded. "This is what our men sent to me earlier." He took out his phone and tapped his fingers on it. Soon, a picture appeared on his phone. 

Yan Yi Xie took the phone from him and enlarged the photo. A look of surprise crossed his face when he recognized the man in the photograph.

Huo Yun Chen.

Huo Yun Chen's photo was taken just in front of his apartment. A woman stood close beside him and the two were holding hands. Huo Yun Chen was seen leaning toward that woman, making it seem as if he was kissing the woman's forehead.

They were too close and intimate. 

Yan Yi Xie was sure that their relationship could not be that simple.

The smile on his face widened. "Huo Yun Chen. I did not expect that there would be a day when I can catch you with another woman. Who is she?" 

"I don't know." Ah Wei shook his head. There are a few more pictures."

Yan Yi Xie scrolled through the pictures and tried to look at the woman. His finger stopped at one picture where the woman's face was a little clearer.

"Wait a minute." Yan Yi Xie's expression turned serious. He leaned over and focused on this photo. "I've seen this woman before." His eyes narrowed. Something came to his mind and Yan Yi Xie's expression brightened again. He turned to his assistant again and spoke, "Ah Wei, help me to investigate something."

Back at Huo Yun Chen's apartment...

Xia Yu's eyes fluttered and she took in a deep breath. Her eyes snapped open and the first thing she saw was the night view outside the window. The rain pitter-patter against the window glass.

It had only started to rain.

The memories of what happened a few hours ago reappeared in her mind. Thinking of how she had rolled on the sheet with Huo Yun Chen earlier made her grow shy. Xia Yu pulled the blanket over her head to hide.

A warm feeling surged from her heart and spread through all over her body, and a sweet smile curled on her lips. She felt giddy. Xia Yu thought that she hasn't been this happy for a long time.

Feeling slightly suffocated from hiding under the blanket, Xia Yu poked her head out once again.

This time, she took the chance to look at Huo Yun Chen's room properly without making much movement. Just like the furniture in the living room, Huo Yun Chen's room was decorated with the shade of nature. However, there was still a splash of color in some spots.

After she had looked enough, Xia Yu turned to lay on her stomach.

Her brow furrowed when she felt a little sore on some part of her body. 

A look of disappointment crossed her face when she could not see Huo Yun Chen beside her. Xia Yu raised her head to look at the clock on the wall and was surprised to see that it was five minutes past three.

It was still dark outside. Where could Huo Yun Chen be at a time like this?

A rustling sounds caught her attention. Xia Yu turned in that direction and finally found the person she was looking for. 

Huo Yun Chen was sitting on the sofa at the side of the room. 

He was only wearing long pants and nothing else. Xia Yu's gaze fell on the man's abs and her face blushed.

Papers were scattered on the table and the man was too focused on writing something on the paper. He did not realize that she had woken up and was now looking at him.

She did not know what he was doing at this moment but seeing him so focused, Xia Yu did not have the heart to disturb him.

Just like that, Xia Yu continued to admire Huo Yun Chen from her position.

After a while, Huo Yun Chen finally stopped writing on the paper.

As if noticing that someone was staring at him, Huo Yun Chen finally looked up at the woman in his bed. 

Her eyes were looking at him in surprise and soon, she lowered her head shyly. 

Her shoulders were exposed and her long hair cascaded on her back. His dark blue bedsheet contrasted against her white skin. The image was too tempting, making his throat rolled.

"You're awake?" His voice reverberated in the room. 

"No." Her voice was muffled with the pillow.

Huo Yun Chen chuckled at this scene. He found that he really loved seeing Xia Yu's shy face. After pondering for a while, Huo Yun Chen decided to call her name. "Xia Yu."

There was a long silence in the room before Xia Yu turned her head to look at him.

Seeing his teasing smile gave her the urge to hide again but this time, Xia Yu did not hide away from him. "What are you doing?" Her voice sounded a little hoarse. "Are you busy?"

Huo Yun Chen shook his head. He looked at the paper in his hand and halted. "Why don't you come over here and accompany me?"

Xia Yu thought for a moment before she decided to walk over to his side. Because she was not wearing anything underneath the blanket, Xia Yu could only wrap her body with it.

Xia Yu bit her lips as her legs touched the wooden floor. She walked slowly until she reached Huo Yun Chen's side and was pulled over to sit on his lap.

Her eyes widened as she stared back at Huo Yun Chen's handsome face.

The man hugged her body tightly and leaned over to kiss her lips. He only let her go once she started to feel a little breathless.

The tip of his nose met hers as he continued to stare at her. No matter how much he looked, Huo Yun Chen thought that he could not get enough of her.

Taking a deep breath, Huo Yun Chen finally pulled away. He picked up the paper on the table and handed it over to Xia Yu. "Take a look at it."

Xia Yu blinked as she stared at the words on the paper. "Did you write a new song?"

"Mhm... I found some idea and thought that I better write it down when I still have the inspiration." His chin rested on her head. "Tell me what you think of it."

Xia Yu read the lyrics, and her expression slowly changed. 

These lyrics... why does it sound a little explicit?

Her face turned paler when she realized what it was. Was this a song about lovemaking?
