Chapter 30. Everything Finally Clicked.

*Awooooo*

The Martial Emperor giant wolf started a long howl as its silver fur shone under the moonlight. With the loud howl of that wolf as the start, more and more wolves got summoned from the southern direction of Endless Mountain.

Ren Qingchen looked at the increasingly higher number of wolves around them and got speechless.

'Damn. Now this group of wolves blocked the road to Martial Spirit Sect, I could only bet it all and enter Meteor Island.'

Muttering some curse for this bad luck of his that has 'helped' him to take his choice, Ren Qingchen looked at Third Princess while whispering.

"When I count to three, immediately run toward Meteor Island."

Third Princess nodded hearing that suggestion and started to circulate her blood energy.

"One."

"Two"

"Three!"

When he counted to three, Third Princess trusted Ren Qingchen's suggestion and immediately ran at high speed toward the direction of Meteor Island.

Meanwhile, Ren Qingchen has ignited all of the remaining explosives on him and thrown it at the direction of that group of wolf.

Stoping his circulation of stealth skill to preserve more of his energy, he followed Third Princess and ran toward the same direction.

After getting flustered by his explosion, the group of wolves slowly regained their composure and followed the trails those two left with the Martial Emperor wolf in the lead.

Escaping through many complicated forest terains, Ren Qingchen used all of the anti reconnaissance skill he could use.

But, even after using all of his means like perfumes to remove body scent, removing trace of footsteps, forcing himself to activate stealth and hid both himself and Third Princess. Ren Qingchen could still feel those group of wolves high on their footsteps.

'Just what mean does those wolves use to follow after us.'

While running in a daze, Ren Qingchen used all his brain power to think about the means to escape those wolf's tracking.

After thinking hard for a long time he finally decided to give up.

Raising his head toward Third Princess, Ren Qingchen could see her face wearing a thoughtful expression shine under the gentle moonlight making her already beautiful face have an additional ethereal feeling.

'Hmm. It seems she is also thinking about something. Wait a minute, something is wrong!'

Looking at Third Princess's thoughtful look that shone under the moonlight, Ren Qingchen's expression changed.

Raising his head to look at the cloudy night sky above, he could see the crescent moon hanging while shining sparse light through the cloud's narrow gap toward the ground.

Once again staring at Third Princess's shining face and remembering how the Martial Emperor wolf's fur shone brightly under the faint moonlight

'I will be damned. That wolf has ability related to moon light?!'

That is right, Ren Qingchen suspected the way that wolf use to follow after them is through shining this unnatural moonlight towards them.

But now although he already know about it, there is nothing he could do except for praying once the sun rise the wolf's ability will be suppressed enough to give them chance at escape.

Running throughout the night, Ren Qingchen could soon see the sun raise in the horizon.

When the sun has risen to its peak and morning arrive, Ren Qingchen used the perfume to remove their scent and activated his stealth skill once more covering both Third Princess and him.

This time, he could sense the wolf group stoping on their track.

Telling the news to Third Princess, both of them decided to walk a bit further before resting and regaining their energy preparing for another chase tonight.

Soon, the sun sets and night arrived. Both of them waited a moment to check whether or not those wolves are still chasing after both of them.

Waiting in bated breath, they could feel their surrounding getting a lot brighter merely 15 minutes after the sun set.

Hearing the wolf's howl that slowly get nearer to their position, both of them continued their escapades.

Just like that, several days passes and they finally arrived at the sea while being chased by a group of angry wolves. From their current location, they could already see a small island standing in the middle of the sea.

"Do you have any way to pass the sea and arrive at Meteor Island?"

Glancing at each other's eye, Ren Qingchen asked Third Princess. Afterall, she is the one who brought the idea of entering Meteor Island.

Hearing Ren Qingchen's question, Third princess smiled in embarrassment.

Rolling his eyes, he suggested for both of them to cut some trees and create a raft.

While they are busy chopping the surrounding trees, soon Ren Qingchen could see the sun sets and moon raise.

"It is night already and those wolf will soon chase after us."

Hearing his warning, Third Princess panicked.

"What should we do? We haven't found anything to tie the log together yet."

"Is that cold sword skill of yours cold enough to freeze water? Also, how many more time you could activate it?"

Hearing his question about her skill, Third Princess is confused but still answered nevertheless.

"It could freeze the water in a small area and i could still do it around 5 more times."

"Then, lets push this log to watet and connect them with ice from your skill."

Hearing his word Third Princess nodded and start pushing the logs toward the water. Ren Qingchen also followed suit and pushed the log he cut toward the water.

After gathering those logs together, Third Princess activated her sword skill several time and froze the water to firmly connect the log.

Taking a long branch to row the raft, both started to move it toward Meteor Island.

In half a hour, the wolf arrived at the place they have previous been and seems to be discusing something. Soon after, the huge wolf went forward alone and followed behind their raft.

The three of them staged a race in the sea for several hours before Ren Qingchen's small raft arrived at Meteor Island first without getting caught by that Martial Emperor wolf.

Although that wolf seems to move increadibly fast on water during their early chase, its stamina seems to be pretty bad as it keep on slowing down after midway toward the island.

Descending from their raft, Third Princess and Ren Qingchen could see a column of smoke nearby them.

As the Martial Emperor wolf's currently quite far away from them, both of them went to the source of that smoke in curiosity.

From far away, they could see a group of people surrounding a bonfire while barbecuing some meat. Hearing the occasional laughter and singing voice from that place which doesn't sound like someone doing exploration at all, Ren Qingchen is confused.

'Just which group of crazies actually selected Meteor Island as their destination for vacation.'

As both of them get nearer and nearer to that group, Ren Qingchen's eyes widened in shock upon seeing one of the boy surrounding that bonfire.

"Ren Qingquan? You are still alive?! How?!"

Moving backward several days when Ren Qingchen and Third Princess has yet to met.

Mid way through his flight, Azure Emperor feel his injuries worsened and choose to look for a hiding place to hid for several days and repair the injuries he received after being attacked by Martial Spirit Sect's trump card.

Now, after several days of resting, he decided to move once again. Getting up from a cave he dug randomly, Azure Emperor cleansed his imperial robe from dirt and soil.

Moving the surrounding energies once more, he started to float in the sky toward Endless Mountain's core area.

While flying, he could see a lot of beasts running around randomly while being chased by several peoples. From the clothes worn by those group, they are most likely from Martial Spirit Sect and is here to kill some beasts.

Satisfied at his own conjecture, Azure Emperor just continued to be on his way while galncing around at those creature busying themselves bellow him.

As he is in a good mood while looking down on all of those creature bellow him, Azure Emperor could see more and more disciples from Martial Spirit Sect gathered.

'???'

As he is a bit curious and the destination those people have seems to be located nearby the core area, Azure Emperor decided to fly a bit slower and followed them.

After a day of walking, the group bellow him has entered the inner area of Endless Mountain. At this time, Azure Emperor has stopped following those group and moved forward quickly as he found another more interesting thing which is most likely what caused those group to travel all the way here.

Flying higher and higher, Azure Emperor could see a massive fire with smoke raising toward the sky akin to a black pillar at the core area of Endless Mountain.

Surrounding those burning area are a bald spot without any sort of greenery that has been created by many martial artists working together.

How could he know it is made by martial artists? Well as he have an eye, of course he could see the group of ant like creature busy moving everywhere while cutting trees.

After observing for some time, Azure Emperor is bored and decided to continue his journey.

Creating a barrier like thing from surrounding natural energies to purify the smoke and blocking the heat from destroying his favourite imperial robe. He floated amidst the sea of fire bellow and the pillar of black mist that filled his view.

Following the guide he got from some relic, Azure Emperor used something called divine sense which he obtained after advancing to the realm above Martial Emperor to sense the weak point in space.

After walking for a long time without any gain in the middle of this smoke, he got a bit impatient and slapped some palm strike toward the burning trees bellow him as his attempt to disperse some smoke blocking his view.

After flattening a huge patch of trees below him, he finally feel less impatient.

'Haha. Guess the impatient persona I acted during my tenure as an Emperor is not entirely fake.'

Ridiculing himself, Azure Emperor continued his attempt at sensing the location said in the relic he found.

After several hours, his mouth rose into a smile as he finally detected the location with weak space recorded in that relic.

Gathering a large amount of nature energy from his surrounding, Azure Emperor turned into a massive vortex before taking the treasured sword he gained from a Martial Emperor in Martial Spirit Sect.

Sending all of his energies toward the sword as he slashed it toward an empty space. He could see the space around him cracked like a mirror before shattering altogether.

"Farewell world."

Entering the crack in space, Azure Emperor said his goodbye to this world as he prepared himself to walk through the bridge connected to a higher world.

Just several second after entering, he could feel himself being thrown around just like a boat in the middle of the storm.

'I will be damned, where is the frickin bridge?!'

Consciousness Space

Although I don't know why Ren Qingchen asked Ren Qingquan why he is still alive. It still doesn't stop me from nodding in approval.

With how Ren Qingquan love to seek death, I will also be confused why he is still alive and kicking until now.

Anyway, that is not important.

Right now, my focus is still on the view I see through one of the [Scan] i anchored several days ago. To be specific, it is the [Scan] I recently anchored to the guy Ren Qingquan met while leaving Formation Peak to take a leave of absence.

From that guys's conversation with the Martial Emperors from Martial Spirit Sect. He seems to be called Azure Emperor, which to be honest is an extremely weird name.

But, that too is not important.

The most important things is that guy actually frickin shattered space! Several days ago i saw him slashing his sword and causing some of the space in Endless Mountain to shatter like a glass.

Although after shattering the space, Azure Emperor seem to be stuck somewhere as all i could see from the [Scan] placed on him is merely complete darkness with occasional light. If not for that occasional light, I would've thought he entered the consciousness space I am in right now.
