Chapter 159 Jack Frigel
After finishing the video, Lei Zhen sent his feedback and approval to Griselda to upload the video on Prime Tv.
What more could he say when the quality and contents of the video were immersive?
Even though he had personally experienced those already, he felt like he could imagine himself being on the scene again.
The video was simply that addicting and it was always full of suspense.
Once his message was sent, Griselda replied 'okay' instantly.
Lei Zhen subtly closed the private message as he glanced outside, only to realize it was getting quite late. The excited crowd was gradually decreasing as everyone went back to their own things to do.
Seeing that, Lei Zhen paid for the food in the restaurant and returned to his room at the Royal Palace.
Laying by the bed, Lei Zhen logged out of the game and his vision blurred for a moment.
Sometime later, Lei Zhen got off the MagnoPod and grabbed his phone to see the current news.
"Hmm, it seems like the event of Yors Castle had been trending at number eight whereas the new Hell's Domain dungeon is trending first." He calmly read the news and realized Tang Qiaolian's guild was close to succeeding in conquering the dungeon.
Although the event of Yors Castle was exciting, it was still not enough to hook much interest from high-level players.
They are more interested in the new difficult dungeon that numerous guilds had struggled to complete.
The fact that the players are more interested in dungeon fighting than the storyline made Lei Zhen question if their video would do great.
Nevertheless, Lei Zhen wouldn't change his mind and told Griselda to not upload the video. Doubting oneself and always questioning the possibility of failure was something Lei Zhen would not do.
It was either to go hard or go home and sulk like a little baby, never reaching success because of their cowardness to venture further.
Cooking some food and getting ready for his work, Lei Zhen calmly waited for the news.
Three days later, Lei Zhen checked the trending news again regarding Magnolia online, only to see nothing else changed.
'Welp, it does take time for a new guild to gain some traction.' Lei Zhen thought to himself, not feeling downhearted by the results.
Obviously, it would be nice if their viewers skyrocket, but not everything goes what you wanted in life.
Not minding the slow results, Lei Zhen went to Magnolia to continue playing.
Meanwhile, somewhere else, in a room filled with Magnolia posters, a person was browsing through the internet.
"Sigh, another dungeon fighting? Why are all the contents the same? Can't they show something different? How am I supposed to write an article when every player is doing the same thing without much success?" The person complained when he realized there wasn't a single newsworthy thing to write about.
He was a reporter for a television broadcast, specifically to report things regarding Magnolia, Jack Frigel.
"Oh, what's this?" Jack Frigel raised an eyebrow when he saw a video on Prime Tv.
"A two-hour-long video? Is this supposed to be a Magnolia cinematic?" He laughed awkwardly, clicking on it out of curiosity.
He had a laid-back attitude as he leaned behind his computer chair, expecting it to be another amateur making some videos in hopes to gain viewers.
'This is under the channel Zero Fear huh. Never heard of it.' Jack Frigel exclaimed inwardly as he watched the introduction, feeling slightly surprised by the editing effort.
His interest was piqued for a moment since an introduction was the most important aspect to hook in viewers in any type of video and he had to praise the introduction was pretty well done.
Watching the video carefully now, Jack Frigel leaned closer to the monitor and began analyzing it.
"Hmm, so this is happening in Yors Castle. There was a large-scale civil war occurring before, but it didn't gain much attention since it's considered a low-level region. I didn't expect there was actually so much stuff happening here." He murmured, getting a sense of uniqueness and a breath of fresh air.
This video wasn't about fighting mobs or conquering dungeons but focused more on the storyline aspect and adventures.
Something that had been lost in a while since players tend to focus more on their leveling and grinding dungeons for fame over the storyline where most players would just skip it.
Taking out his mini-tablet, Jack Frigel began taking down notes whenever he watched something newsworthy and would occasionally go back to rewatch it again.
And just like that, Jack Frigel spent around 6 hours or so watching the video and jotting down notes.
Unconsciously, his initial laid-back behavior had turned into an exciting one as he quickly subscribed to Zero Fear on Prime Tv and added it to his notification bell.
"Damn, this is the content I've been waiting for. Originality and quality content with top-tier editing skills. Who would have thought that this channel was producing such a quality video here?" Jack Frigel was astonished to see the low traction that the Zero Fear channel was having.
There were only around 1000 viewers or so in contrast to those top channels that have millions of viewers, with some even going to the billions of digits.
ραпdα nᴏνa| сom Jack Frigel rubbed his chin and closed his eyes, mentally thinking about the video.
Although the content was quite fresh and extremely new, he could subtly understand why it didn't manage to gain a lot of traction.
The current Magnolia players are interested in action fighting whereas the two hours long video had many dialogues and schemes behind the scenes. Only toward the end when they engaged in the fight against the black mage did he get fired up.
Scratching his head slightly, Jack Frigel went to his email and noticed his boss was rushing him to write some articles.
"Ah, screw it. I'm going to write this article even though it might not be the current trend. At least it's still better than writing some similar articles like the other news companies." Jack Frigel said and went to his computer, typing up a new article named The Emergence of Zero Fear guild.
