MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 918 Three Days

918  Three Days

Whoosh!

After he tried using the Truth Weaver Scripture to empower the Intent of Shadow Energy, it did not take long for the young man to do the same thing with the other Intents under his arsenal.

Thinking about how Azure Energy was formed, Valyr tried using the Truth Weaver Scripture on the Intent of the Four Elements first, immediately sensing the connection he had with the four elements deepen.

Making use of this slightly stronger connection as he released a bit of his Azure Energy, the young man immediately felt the attunements having greater effect than before, eliciting a satisfied smile to creep up onto his lips.

After that came the Intent of True Mana, which made Valyr feel more of the boundless property that mana innately had.

Utilizing the empowered Intent through pure mana, the young man felt that its quality now seemed somewhat on par with the braided energy he'd made back when he was still learning Azure Energy under Sellifer.

Considering that he nearly had a hundred thousand points of mana at this point, Valyr felt like this specific combination would have great uses later down in the line, especially once he brought both his Shadow Energy and mana to 1st Metamorphosis.

Of course, it went without saying that the empowered Intent had greater effect when he made use of it through Azure Energy.

With Shadow Energy focusing on the property of destruction, mana focused on the property of creation and proliferation, which was more than evident as he manipulated the Azure Energy in various ways.

Through the Intent of True Mana, his Azure Energy seemed sturdier and more pliable than before, causing him to come up with a couple of scenarios where such a property would be useful.

"[Azure Phoenix's Lament] would probably benefit the most from this," muttered Valyr to himself with a nod as he mulled over it.

Ordering late dinner from the inn, the young man then moved on to the three other Intents that did not have a direct relation to Azure Energy.

Surprisingly, Intent of the Spear meshed well with Azure Energy, considering how one of his core combat skills revolved around using the spear alongside it.

Either way, having Intent of the Spear empowered through the scripture had a similar effect to having the Intent of Shadow Energy empowered, improving the offensive power contained within his skills.

Aside from that, it also had the effect of strengthening his spear, which Valyr thought would see great use once he obtained the solution to the Mark of the Alltide from Vaughn.

The last two Intents he used the Truth Weaver Scripture on were the Intent of Forging and the Intent of the Forger's Flames, both of them being production-related Intents. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Because of that, it was only until around the noon of next day was he able to empower one of these Intents to the Duality level, reaching the Trinity level by the time it was night once more.

Unlike the combat-related Intents he'd empowered through the Truth Weaver Scripture, empowering either the Intent of Forging or the Intent of the Forger's Flames felt less substantial in a way.

Of course, with the experience he had in his past life, he had a hunch as to why that was the feeling he got, immediately heading to the Blacksmith Guild by the time the sun rose once more.

Receiving a quota from Julian that was similar to the one he completed before, Valyr soon made use of the Truth Weaver Scripture on the production-related Intents, immediately confirming its effects by the time he'd finished forging around five weapons.

'As expected,' thought the young man to himself with a faint smile.

'Though the connection to the world has been strengthened with it active, these Intents only begin to shine once they're used in the right setting.'

Compared to combat-related Intents, production-related Intents boosted the user's Attack coefficient by half of what a combat-related Intent would boost it at the same grade.

However, to make up for it, these Intents boosted other areas, most of them having something to do with the field of production related to Intent.

In Valyr's case, whether he used the Intent of Forging or the Intent of the Forger's Flames, the Intent he had active would boost the speed at which he forged an item, as well as the final stats of the item he forged by a certain amount.

With both Intents at 6th Grade, his forging speed was boosted by 12%, while the final stats of any item he forged was boosted by 8%.

Naturally, that figure was a bit higher with the Truth Weaver Scripture active.

Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!

Making great use of the Truth Weaver Scripture in his forging, it only took a bit over three days for Valyr to finish his quota, forgoing the need for rest once more as he left Julian at a loss for words.

"Were you holding yourself back before or something?" Once he got the message from Valyr that he was done with his quota, Julian immediately made his way to the young man's workshop as soon as possible, his expression in disbelief.

"I guess you could say that," replied Valyr, awkwardly chuckling at the question. "I'm still in the process of familiarizing myself with the forge again, so I feel like something similar would happen if I were to do it again."

"No promises, though."

"…" Hearing those words, Julian could only remain silent, taking in a deep breath before making the decision to improve Valyr's rewards once more.

From 30,000 points each, he had given the young man another 10,000, bringing Valyr's total merit points under the Blacksmith Guild to 75,000.

"75,000 merit points is actually more than enough to avail the Blacksmith Guild's rarer treasures," said Julian after briefly checking through the young man's information through the guild. "You should really think about using it some time."

"If you're thinking about saving it in order to improve your rank, the progress to the next rank stays even if you spend it all," added the man, only to laugh soon after. "Other than that, you're an Honorary Lesser Elder. You'll have to amass over 300,000 merit points at the very least for your rank to improve."

"In any case, you should really head back to your place and get some rest," Julian said, looking at Valyr as the young man fell silent. "You've spent three days straight without even getting some shuteye, after all."

"I will." Though Julian's words about his merit points continued to linger in his mind, Valyr decided to focus on getting rest first, feeling a bit of the lethargy finally seep into his body.

After talking with Julian a bit more about what he could do with the merit points, the young man eventually left the Blacksmith Guild, heading back to the inn to get some well-needed rest.
