The Evellen Territory is located at the western part of Cliffton Empire and the territory household who managed that place is none other than the Duke Evellen household, who were known for being a household of merchants and from what others stated that the Evellen household are rumored to have ties within the Cliffton Royal family, but no one would have proven that statement.

"We just arrived in this territory so, how the heck are we going to find that client anyway?"

Arico said as both of them are now travelling within the inner city of the territory and most of the streets are filled with markets from left and right that Eclipse could tell that this place is a merchant territory.

"According to the information that Ria gave us, our dear client, Sir Gilbert Herrer would be attending some auction event in this territory since this place is filled with luxury products and items that one could have obtained."

Eclipse said as he remembered the information that was written on the envelope that the receptionist Ria from the guild had given to them.

Sometimes, clients like this are the ones who reached out the adventurers who took their commissions in their stead but since this commission is S-Rank, the adventurers are the ones who should reach out for them since S-Rank commissions are special, unlike normal commissions.

"We need to attend that auction event to track down our dear client. In order to do that, we need to at least dress ourselves like a noble since that's an auction event and for this one, it would be not just an ordinary event."

'We need to find that person as soon as possible because I have a bad feeling that things aren't that going to be easy.'

He thought as both of them went over to some boutique to buy some new clothes for themselves.

THE DAY OF THE AUCTION EVENT

"Wow! How fancy are these events are! It's my first time seeing these kinds of events and it looks like it's fun to be here!"

Arico said as he looked around within his surroundings and Eclipse just sighed because of how ignorant Arico seemed to be right now.

'It feels like I'm taking out a child who has been sheltered for all his life. Ha!'

He thought as he watched how Arico looks like a wandering child who haven't seen things in his life.

Now that he think about it.

Yeah, right. Most of the Slayer Agents from that Department only have one task and that was to execute criminal agents and world-hoppers who violated the system laws.

'It's pretty normal for Arico to be like this. Who would have thought that the most notorious cold-blooded agent from the Slayer Department would act like this? If others would have seen it, I don't know what kind of reaction they would get.'

They weren't world-hoppers who had experienced these kinds of events within the worldlines, and Eclipse was a former noble child before he became a world-hopper after his death in the original timeline and Eclipse is clearly familiar with how auction events works.

There are two methods on how to enter such auction events.

One is, of course, if someone receive an invitation from someone else, a form of connection per say or the invitation came from one of the sponsored households within the Empire.

'Well, this kind of method is pretty common amongst aristocrat households and it's not just in auction events but other events as well.'

However, right now, gaining an invitation to those aristocrat households is out of the question in Eclipse's current predicament.

The second method is… well, this one is not that much well used but only few people who would have done this.

And that's for reciting codes.

Not just any random codes from those modern worldlines but rather, the [codes] here are something specific that only for those people who were part of that group.

'I guess I have no choice but to take advantage of the [token] that Rheina gifted to me.'

< ... "Remember this, that [token] isn't some ordinary token at all. That [token] would have saved you from countless situations in case you have face some troubles within the Cliffton Empire. Upon taking out that [token], you will see." …. >

The world-hopper remembered those words coming from the Lotus Killer and Eclipse had seen what this token could have done for.

Aside from the fact that he took out that token upon inspection from the port when both him and Arico just landed on the coast of Cliffton Empire and the world-hopper saw how those people are seems on the edge or something upon seeing the token within his hands.

'I had a feeling that when the time came that both of us entered the Capital city of Krom, there would be no doubt that I would be in some sensational news across the continent. I still don't know what's the meaning of this token that Rheina gave me.'

Eclipse thought as he pulled Arico on his side and then went over at the place where the auction event would start and both of them saw how those carriages are in front of that establishment and many aristocratic households that seems to be present on this auction event.

"Hey, Eclipse. How are we supposed to get inside if those carriages are blocked in the way and not only that, but those were also aristocrats and I bet if we happened to just barge in, we would be in trouble."

Arico said as he watched those carriages from those aristocrat households who are now leaving in their carriages and falling in line at the establishment with the invitation in their hands and gave it to the person who welcomes the guests.

When the world-hopper heard what Arico stated, he raised an eyebrow at him and said; "Since when we bothered those kinds of scenarios? Especially you, Arico. You never bothered about this kind of situation and would just barge in as if nothing happened."

The world-hopper questioned his companion, and the said companion raised an eyebrow back at him and said; "So, are you telling me that we make a commotion and just go inside? What if that dear client of ours are watching us from afar? I bet he already knew that we are here right now and just observing us from where he was right now."

'Hmp! Fair enough. It seems that the Slayer Agent had some brains at all.'

Of course, Eclipse didn't want to cause a scene and as much as possible, he refrained from doing things that he usually does since he doesn't have his system interface for a moment who serves as his guide.

Eclipse smiled at his companion as he said; "Of course not. You're not the only one who thought about it and you're right. We don't need to make a scene just to get inside though."

Arico, who seems didn't get what his companion was saying because from what he understood from the world-hopper's words are;

'That's contradicting, if I say though.'

With no other choice then, both of them went over at the establishment where the auction would be held and since their dressed aren't that inferior to those aristocrats and not only that, with both of their handsome appearances, they wouldn't be under suspicious.

When both of them were now at the entrance of the establishment, the person-in-charge noticed them and went over with his usual business smile as he spoke.

"Welcome, esteemed guests! Please can I have your invitations first?"

Eclipse said nonchalantly; "Sorry, we don't have an invitation within our hands though."

When he said those words, most of the aristocrats within them looked at the two good-looking gentlemen and heard the conversation between the person-in-charge and the handsome snow-colored hair youth.

"Hey! If you guys don't have an invitation, get the hell out of this place! This place isn't something for kids like you to play with!"

An arrogant nobleman shouted at them, but Eclipse didn't bother to looked behind his back and to confront that arrogant nobleman because it's none of their business anyway.

When that arrogant nobleman noticed that he was being ignored, his face redden in embarrassment and was about to give some lesson to this unknown person, a gust of powerful wind burst forth at the arrogant nobleman and most of the guests outside held their clothes because of the wind that's too strong for them to maintain their appearance.

'W-w-what kind of powerful aura was this?! Who is this kid, anyway?!'

Arico, on the other hand, stayed still as he could withhold his ground as he watched how his companion activated his own authority.

'If I were them, they should keep their mouth shut, lest they wanted to get themselves in danger. However, I don't know why Eclipse unleashed his authority here. Ha! I don't know anymore.'

The Slayer Agent just watch the scene in front of him and wait for what would happen next.

"However, even though I don't have an invitation, I don't know if this would suffice for now. We need something from the auction house so I do hope this would serve me and my companion to enter the establishment."

As soon as he said those words, Eclipse took out the [token] and presented it to the person-in-charge and the spectators also looked at the item that the handsome youth presented.

Upon looking at the token, the person-in-charge paled as he recognized that token and the person-in-charge sweat drops as he immediately said.

"P-please come this way! I-I'll be the one who would assist you and your companion inside!"
