Unlike when he was breaking into Lesser assassin rank, Lucas had already thought about the spirit beasts he had to assassinate.

To be more specific, Lucas was focused on the next two skills that he would get by becoming a General Assassin.

'Night Cerberus and Jade Lynx. I want a skill from each of you.'

Night Cerberus is a spirit beast that has a minimum strength of rank 3 the moment it was born and as long as it lives for one year, it will reach rank 4. Also, after 11 years of its birth, it would naturally become a rank 5 spirit beast.

Because of how easy it would become stronger, many experts tried to tame this Night Cerberus; however, it will rather die than becoming a pet for others.

'If not for its middle-head that was very proud, I would have tried to tame it as it would make a good guardian spirit beast for my Hellmore family.'

This Night Cerberus has three heads and if someone wants to tame it, they have to convince all three heads and the center head was very hard to tame. 

'Anyway, it has a skill that I am very much interested in. So, I will kill it first.'

Lucas kept Jade Lynx for the last because he knew he had to kill the Night Cerberus in the daytime as its battle prowess was weakest now.

'According to the information I got from Harper, these two rank 4 spirit beasts live in the depths of the Viscount grounds. So, I have to be careful.'

Lucas decided to rush back into the Viscount grounds after resting for a couple of hours.

Since he was assassinating the spirit beasts all night, he was a little tired and decided to take some rest before resuming the main part.

It was not a hard thing to find the location of a Night Cerberus as there was a lot of information available about this spirit beast.

So, he wanted to find the location of the other spirit beast as it would save him a lot of time in searching for it after killing the 'Night Cerberus'.

After searching for his second spirit beast 'Jade Lynx' for two hours, Lucas found the spirit beast's location.

His surroundings were filled with Jade crystals that were emitting some kind of energy that was soothing the entire area.

In the distance a group of Jade lynxes slept without any worries in the world and compared to other Jade lynxes, one jade lynx was more than 10 meters in size.

'One rank 4 Jade lynx and eight rank 3 jade lynxes. Looks like it will be a tough fight.'

With a glance, Lucas could tell that it was not going to be an easy task to assassinate the rank 4 Jade lynx.

'Even though I knew that the Jade lynxes like to live in a group of two or three more jade lynxes, I didn't expect this rank 4 jade lynx to have eight rank 3 jade lynxes.'

Lucas frowned when he saw the group of Jade lynxes in the distance and thought, 'I think, I need to change my plans.'

After thinking for a few minutes, Lucas changed his plans and muttered, 'I will first assassinate the Jade Lynx instead of Night Cerberus.'

Initially, he thought to kill Night Cerberus and after getting the skill from it, he thought assassinating the rank 4 jade lynx would be easier.

However, who would have thought that the Jade Lynx had so many jade lynxes around it and it would be impossible for him to assassinate it in time after killing the Night Cerberus.

'Anyway, I am confident in assassinating both spirit beasts with the skills I get from them.'

Lucas shook his head and thought that his modified plan was good enough and started working on it after consuming a 'Dark ember fruit'

Soon, without wasting any time, Lucas started his plan which started with sending his spirit beasts 'Phantom eagle' and 'Blackwind panther'.

'Go and lure as many rank 3 jade lynxes as possible.'

This was his order to his spirit beasts as Lucas knew that rank 4 Jade lynx would be too lazy to attack the rank 3 spirit beasts.

Lucas didn't worry about his spirit beasts getting caught by the rank 3 jade lynxes because 'Phantom eagle' excels in hiding in shadows to escape whereas 'Blackwind panther' has good speed compared to low-level rank 4 spirit beasts.

As Lucas expected, seeing the two rank 3 spirit beasts, the rank 3 Jade lynx roared at them before four of them jumped at Lucas' spirit beasts before following them.

As for the rank 4 Jade lynx, it didn't even bother to open its eyes, making Lucas heave a sigh of relief.

After his spirit beasts lured the four rank 3 jade lynxes, Lucas assassinated them before storing them and repeated the same process for the next batch of four rank 3 Jade lynx.

'Now, let's see what you will do.'

After killing all eight rank 3 jade lynxes, Lucas didn't bother to rush to assassinate the rank 4 jade lynx because he knew that the jade lynx would form a connection with the jade crystals around it which not only supplies energy for the cultivation of the spirit beasts, but the Jade lynxes will be stronger inside that area that was filled with jade crystals.

That's the reason why he lured all the rank 3 spirit beasts before assassinating them and also waited for the rank 4 jade lynx to come out of its domain.

'It's waking up.'

Lucas waited for an hour before the rank 4 jade lynx to notice that something was wrong and without any hesitation, he used his strength increasing skill and spell.
