'What the hell? Why is it so weak? Weaker than a rank 3 spirit beast.'

Looking at the disappearing robed skeleton and the system notification, Lucas could not help but a little disappointed at the first mini-boss of the dungeon.

'Anyway, it left something behind. Let's see whether I can use them or not.'

Generally, the corpses of the creatures in the dungeon would be absorbed by the dungeon except for the items from the bosses or special creatures.

So, Lucas walked forward to pick up the tattered robe and the wooden staff with runes engraved on it.

          Item name:- Tattered magic robe (rank 2)

          Effect:- Increases the magic sea capacity of the user by 100 units.

'Ding,

          Item name:-  Wooden staff (rank 2)

          Effect:- Decreases the chanting time of the basic spells by 10 seconds.

          Note:- It can't be stacked with the effects from staff or wand-type artifacts.

'I thought the tattered robe was a bad item compared to the wooden staff; however, I was wrong.'

Lucas stored the wooden staff in his inventory as he wore the tattered magic robe.

          Magic sea:- 2320 / 3000 (+100) units of magic power

Soon, his magic sea' capacity increased by 100 units; however, if he removed that tattered robe, it would return to normal.

The dungeon spirit congratulated and urged him to move forward.

'If the other two mini-bosses are like this, I think it will be over soon.'

Lucas expected that an uncleared dungeon would be very difficult; however, until now, there was nothing that made him use half of his original strength.

Once again, after Lucas walked a little forward, he was surrounded by the undead beings and skeletons; however, compared to before, their numbers were in hundreds.

'So, the numbers of these creatures will increase as I venture deeper into the dungeon.'

Finally, Lucas started to like the endless creatures that were coming at him as he started killing them.

However, he didn't even use a single skill; instead, he casually swung his short swords.

System notifications rang in his head; however, Lucas didn't bother to check them as he got nothing from killing hundreds of the undead beings and the skeleton.

"So, you killed the Skeletal mage. I will kill you with my own hands."

All of a sudden, a three meters skeleton that looked just like the skeletal mage appeared in the distance.

However, instead of wearing a magic robe, he was wearing an old armour and an old sword.

'A Skeletal knight?'

As for Lucas, he didn't think much about the Skeletal knight because his strength was around tier 3 lesser knight.

'Die already.'

Lucas swung his short swords in a complete 360 degrees clearing all the undead beings and the skeletons before throwing his two short swords at the incoming skeletal knight.

'Clang'

To Luca' surprise, the skeletal knight deflected the incoming short swords.

'You know how to deflect them. Good. Let's see how you will deflect the next attack.'

'Darkwind blades'

With a slight smile on his face, Lucas aimed at the incoming skeletal knight.

'Clang'

'Kacha'

The skeletal knight deflected the first few dark wind blades; however, it was unable to deflect all of them that killed it.

'Ding,

        The host killed a tier 3 lesser skeletal knight and gained nothing.

As usual, he got nothing from the system but that skeletal knight left behind a few items.

'An old armour and an old sword.'

Lucas cleared the few remaining undead beings around him before picking up the two items left behind by the skeletal knight.

        Item name:- Old sword (rank 2)

        Effect:- Increases the damage by 10 percent.

'Ding,

        Item name:-  Old armour (rank 2)

        Effect:- Increases the knight sea' capacity by 100 units.

'Oh. I think I better wear this one instead of the tattered robe.'

After checking information on the two items, Lucas decided to remove the tattered robe before wearing the old armour.

His magic sea' capacity was already at 3000 units whereas his knight sea's capacity was very low for his current knight rank.

So, he felt it was better for him to wear the old armour as he could use an extra skill with 100 units of knight's energy.

'Ding,

        Knight's sea:- 2433 / 3000 (+100) units of knight energy.

Since he was a tier 3 lesser knight, his knight sea' capacity was at 3000 units; however, his mage rank was only at tier 1 lesser mage; however, his magic sea' capacity was at 3000 units already.

'Anyway, let's kill the third mini-boss before killing the main boss.'

With that thought in his mind, Lucas walked deeper into the cave and as usual, a huge number of undead beings and the skeletons rushed towards him from all sides.

'In the beginning, there were only 100 of these creatures, after killing the first mini-boss, they were in hundreds and now they are in thousands.'

Finally, Lucas could feel a little pressure; however, he knew it would not be a big problem as these undead beings and the skeletons didn't have high attack power.

'A challenge killed the mage and knight. Looks like he will be dying without even knowing how he died.'

In a dark corner of the cave, two dots of blue fires flickered while looking at Lucas.

As for Lucas, he was busy killing the endless stream of the undead beings and the skeletons and didn't notice that the third mini-boss of the dungeon had already appeared and was looking at him.

'He is only a tier 3 lesser knight and he dared to enter the dungeon alone. I think he just wants to die.'

The third mini-boss was none other than a tier 5 lesser skeletal assassin and without wasting any time, he disappeared from his place and sneaked an attack on Lucas.
