Lucas' new ability [Fighter's sense] warned him about the assassination attempt of the Skeletelal assassin.

'Trying to assassinate me?'

Even without that ability, Lucas could sense that he became the target of an assassin as his senses were enhanced a lot after becoming a tier 1 general assassin.

Moreover, the attacker was only a tier 5 lesser assassin. So, Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face before using [Shadow clones].

Three similar clones appeared around Lucas blocking the Skeletal assassin from the main body.

'Huh? Clones? How did he find out?'

In the eyes of the skeletal assassin, Lucas was just a tier 3 lesser knight; however, when he saw Lucas summon three shadow clones, he knew his assassination attempt had failed.

'So what? I can fight him head-on and I can still win.'

The skeletal assassin was confident and decided to kill the shadow clone blocking him from assassinating Lucas.

"Sorry. But I have no interest in playing with you."

However, Lucas just wants to fight the main dungeon boss and conquer this dungeon.

'Darkwind blades'

So, without wasting any time, Lucas used the dark wind blades to kill the skeletal assassin.

Generally, an assassin has a weak defence compared to a knight and Lucas' [Darkwind blades] were more than enough to kill the tier 5 skeletal assassin.

'Ding,

          The host killed a tier 5 skeletal assassin and gained nothing.

'Sigh…as usual, these creatures are so stingy.'

Lucas shook his head and looked at the two items left behind by the assassin.

"Take care of all the undead beings and the skeletons."

He ordered his shadow clones to clear the lowly creatures of the dungeon that were surrounding him while he walked to the items and picked them.

'Ding,

          Item name:- Skeletal dagger (rank 3)

          Effect:- Increases the critical strike by 20 percent

'Ding,

          Item name:- Skeletal robe

          Effect:- Increases the assassin sea's capacity by 100 units.

Information regarding the two items appeared in front of him just as he picked the items.

'I can use the skeletal dagger as I only have a normal rank 3 dagger.'

Lucas replaced one of his daggers with this skeletal dagger and threw the skeletal robe into his inventory.

After becoming a tier 1 general assassin, his assassin had broken through to 10000 units and because he consumed the dark ember fruits, he had 1200 units of additional capacity compared to a regular tier 1 general assassin.

So, to the current Lucas, 100 units of additional capacity for the assassin sea was nothing.

It didn't take much time for Lucas' shadow clones to clear the remaining undead beings and the skeletons and once they were cleared, Lucas heard the dungeon spirit's voice congratulate him.

<The challenger has the right to enter the main dungeon boss' room>

<Do you want to enter now or do you want to take some rest?>

To his surprise, the dungeon spirit was saying that he could take a rest; however, Lucas hardly spent anything on the three mini-bosses of the dungeon. 

"I want to enter the main dungeon boss' room."

So, without wasting any time, he chose to enter the main dungeon boss' room.

'Rumble'

As soon as he chose to fight the dungeon boss, the cave shook a little before a huge door appeared on one of the walls of the cave.

'Creak'

In the next second, it opened on its own; however, Lucas could see nothing from outside.

The dungeon spirit might have sensed Lucas' doubt and explained him.

'Since the last mini-boss was a tier 5 skeletal assassin, I think, the main boss will have a strength of general rank.'

Lucas guessed the strength of the main dungeon boss; however, he didn't enter the room carelessly because he feared if the dungeon boss was an aggressive being, he would die the more he entered the room.

[Invisibility]

To be on the safe side, Lucas cast that spell and entered the room.

Even though he would be still visible if he moves, Lucas knew what he had to do to fool the dungeon boss.

"A tier 3 lesser human knight?"

The moment he entered the room, Lucas heard a surprised eerie voice and saw a human holding a wooden staff in one hand and a sword in the other hands.

Also, his lower face was covered by a black mask making him look like an assassin.

'How can a human become the dungeon boss?'

Lucas was not surprised at the fact that the human in front of him looked like a mage, a knight and an assassin; instead, he was surprised at the fact that he was the dungeon boss.

"You must be wondering how I, a human, can become the dungeon boss, right?"

Looking at the confused look on Lucas' face, the dungeon boss chuckled as he continued to reply, "I will tell you after I kill you."

As soon as he finished his words, the dungeon boss slammed his wooden staff on the ground.

'Kacha'

'Swoosh'

'Rumble'

Soon, the skeletal beings came out of the ground.

They were just like the mini-bosses that Lucas killed before entering the main dungeon boss' room.

'Now, this is becoming more interesting.'

There were a total of 12 skeletal beings summoned by the dungeon boss. Among which, there were four skeletons from each profession like a skeletal knight, skeletal mage and skeletal assassin.

Moreover, all of them had the strength of tier 5 lesser rank. So, Lucas finally felt a little pressure because if the dungeon boss could summon such creatures, then his strength must be …..

'Ding,

        Detected the dungeon boss' strength to be at tier 5 general rank in three professions (Knight, Mage and Assassin).

'Ding,

        The host met the conditions to unlock a new system feature 'Gameplay'. Please activate it to use that feature.
