Voyage With The Pirate King

Rui Fei who had been watching Xunshi Zhe and Big Hei goofing around suddenly wanted to eat some tofu through mischief. He leaned forward with a stretched hand and placed it on Rui Fei's chest saying, "Yao-ge, let me check your size as well."

His fingers that were curled while feeling up the left side of Ji Yao's chest slowly flattened and his expression turned roguish as he felt around for something.

Ji Yao who was helping him put back his brocade boots after drying them abruptly grasped his wrist and removed his unruly paw off his chest. His gaze slowly shifted up and he stared at Rui Fei glaringly.

Despite being threatened by an icy glare Rui Fei was smiling happily as he leaned in even closer. "Keep looking at me like that and I won't be able to resist the urge to kiss you," he said throwing a grenade near a landmine.

The result was Ji Yao putting down Rui Fei's foot before standing up to leave. The smile on Rui Fei's face froze as he stared at that disappearing figure. He chuckled while licking his bottom lip before putting on his boots.

It was then he felt the burning gaze that had been on him earlier had suddenly intensified. He knew Xiaoyu had been watching them all this time but he didn't stop flirting with Ji Yao. Like a wild animal marking its territory, he threw dog food in her face as a sign that she should give up.

But this time something was off about her gaze. His fingers that were straightening the hem of his robe paused as he gazed at her in his peripheral view before raising his head to look at her. Xiaoyu who should have been teary-eyed or at least seething in jealousy didn't back down. In fact, she smiled slyly as she waved at him.

Rui Fei stared at her menacingly before pushing back the ends of his silvery grey hair and standing up to follow Ji Yao. He was suspicious of her so he chose to keep an eye on Xiaoyu for this entire duration.

The creature snorted coldly at its food that was walking away with a menacing glare. It wasn't offended at all, in fact, the angrier the food the tastier it gets. While it was watching Rui Fei walk away it suddenly heard a familiar sweet voice calling out Xiaoyu's name.

With its arms languidly crossed on its chest, it looked down and saw Rui Li standing there with an inquisitive look. "What do you want?" it asked ready to shoo away this troublesome little psycho.

Rui Li wasn't at all upset about the icy tone. Xiaoyu was still angry about the CP shipping situation so she could understand. This lady was a mere cannon fodder in her brother's love story so she could only pity her.

Rui Li pointed at her chest and said, "How did you make them so realistic? I mean did you eat something to make them grow that big in a matter of hours or is it some type of exercise that you have been doing? Just curious," with a serious expression and no slight hint of mockery at all.

The Yinying, "..."

Where girls these days so unrestrained? Do they just ask such sensitive questions with no discretion? The creature that had been out of touch with the rest of the world for a very long time just shrugged it off and gave a perfunctory response. "It's a new skill. I can now grow and shrink any part of my body."

Rui Li's eyes shone brightly as she inquired further, "What is it called? Can you teach me? Can you grow your butt?"

"Yes,"

"Head?"

"Yes,"

"Toes?"

"Oh god, yes, yes, yes..... now quit asking. So annoying."

Rui Li froze after being yelled at but instead of getting angry a creepy smile crept up her face before she leaned forward and whispered another question to Xiaoyu.

The creature, "What tha... how old are you? Geez." It immediately walked away before this menace of a child asked another creepy question.

"Too bad you are not a guy!" yelled Rui Li before murmuring, "I know they would love that ability." The creature's steps increased as it scurried away. It would definitely eat her first after finishing off Rui Fei. They were both equally annoying.

Ji Yao had been discussing his plan on how to proceed looking for this creature when a warm pair of hands slipped in the gap between his arm and his waist embracing him from behind. He didn't even need to look to know who it was. The tips of his ears reddened as he removed those pair of hands with his head lowered.

He didn't even have the willpower to raise his head and look at the crew's reaction to this affectionate scene. Rui Fei obediently took his hands away but still managed to drape his arm around Ji Yao's shoulder with their heads close together as he listened seriously to what Ji Yao was saying.

Once he was done speaking he waited for a response but no one said anything. With his brow furrowed he raised his head from the sketch of the rocky island map, he had drawn on the ground only to be met by stiff faces.

Unsure why they wore such expressions he asked, "What?" with a puzzled look on his face.

"Wow! Anyone who agrees with splitting up and letting these two go together shout I," said Old Du fed up with the pink bubbles floating all around them. He was about to go blind from all this PDA (public display of affection). After this, there was a need to have a serious discussion and abolish such tender scenes on Red Bane.

A loud echo of, "I...." was heard as most of the crew raised their hands in agreement. It seemed they were with Old Du on this one.

Ji Yao who had been shunned by his crew for the first time couldn't understand what was going on nor did he make an effort to understand. Besides, the type of place they were in wasn't suitable for separating into groups so he flatly refused their request and led the way.

The disgruntled crew had no choice but to follow the two love birds leading the way. Behind the two was the only person enjoying this beautiful show of affection and that was Rui Li. At least she somewhat blocked the view for these single dogs who had been abused ceaselessly for the past hour.

At the back of the group, the creature grinned maliciously as it flicked its finger behind its back and an invisible barrier formed behind it. This group had unknowingly stepped into an array that would undoubtedly ruin their day.

After walking for over half an hour in this gloomy dark space with a strong smell of death lingering in the air, Rui Fei soon noticed something was off.

The cave masked the anomaly very well but Rui Fei still managed to see it.. Someone or something had tampered with this space giving the illusion that they were walking forward but in truth, they were walking around in circles for the past thirty minutes.
