Voyage With The Pirate King

The leading light shone brightly in front showing them where they were going but it wasn't bright enough to show everything. To prove his conjecture he discreetly dropped a gold coin on the ground and carried on walking.

Yes, this was an awful plan considering that this entire crew was composed of pirates and a chef who are certified thieves and love shiny things but Ji Yao had given them specific instructions not to touch or take anything.

Banking on that he dropped that coin and sure enough after ten minutes of walking some more he was met with the coin again. With a low scoff, he bent down and picked up the coin which he started flipping in between his fingers.

Ji Yao noticed Rui Fei had stopped walking so he walked back towards him and asked, "What's wrong?"

Rui Fei's gaze remained on the coin flipping in between his fingers as he replied, "I think we are already in another one of its nightmares." He slightly tossed the coin and clasped it into his hands before saying, "We have been walking around in circles."

"Shit," mumbled Ji Yao before issuing an order, "everyone watch each other's backs." This crew was immediately on high alert drawing out their weapons while scanning around vigilantly.

Ji Yao drew out his sword as he leaned in closer to Rui Fei. Rui Fei who had been expecting a kiss leaned in closer with his eyes closed as his hand rested on Ji Yao's arm. But instead of a kiss, a warm breath of air brushed against his ear as Ji Yao whispered, "Your uncle said it's a shapeshifter so be on the lookout for anyone acting strange."

Ji Yao moved back after Rui Fei nodded his head indicating that he had understood. But Rui Fei soon leaned down and also whispered into his ear saying, "I thought you were going to give me a good luck kiss..... I am still injured and am in desperate need of a good luck charm."

Ji Yao wasn't going to let him have his way anymore so he retorted, "Who told you to jump into that flame? You should have stayed with the rest of the fleet."

Rui Fei slowly reached for Ji Yao's fingers in the darkness and hooked them together as he whispered back, "You promised you would never leave me and if Yao-ge breaks his promise then I have no choice but to find you." As he finished saying this he leaned down and kiss his cheek before continuing, "You must understand that without you there is no me."

Thump, thump, thump!

This was the loud beating of Ji Yao's heart as a warm breath brushed against his skin. His entire body was set ablaze by this tender affection but unfortunately, he had no time to savour it because a cloud of mist silently rose from the ground making everyone nervous.

Rui Fei's gaze swept past the crowd and landed on Xiaoyu who for once wasn't trying to stick close to Ji Yao or his siblings in the face of danger. In fact, she didn't look nervous at all, it was as though she was completely detached from the situation like it had nothing to do with her.

Feeling his boring gaze, Xiaoyu turned her head to look at him and smiled giving Rui Fei goosebumps. There was definitely something wrong with her.

As the mist rose higher and higher Rui Fei held Ji Yao's hand tightly and said, "No matter what don't let go," before they were enveloped by the bone-chilling fog. The mist was so thick that even the leading light couldn't be seen. It was as though a curtain was suddenly draped over their heads blinding them.

Anxious for his crew, Ji Yao tugged Rui Fei's hand and asked, "Can you manage to clear the fog?"

Having the rare opportunity to showcase his prowess in front of his most special person he activated his aether but found something amiss. He couldn't engage his core despite having healed some of his aetherial veins.

It was obvious that something was interfering with his aether so he regretfully said, "Yao-ge, something is wrong with my core. I can't circulate my seraphic energy." He assumed Ji Yao was also experiencing the same thing but the expected response never came.

He tightened his grip on the hand he was holding and called out to him but still there was no response. Anxious he turned to look at Ji Yao beside him but all he saw was vast emptiness. His attention was grasped by a figure walking away stirring up the mist and that figure was unmistakably familiar to him.

An inexplicable fear arose in him. Fear of being abandoned, fear of being alone and fear of losing the one he loves. He ran over to the figure letting go of the hand he was holding. His judgement clouded he followed this figure in an endless chase. No matter how fast he ran he was unable to catch up with him.

Rui Fei kept chasing after him till he came out of the misty cloud and found himself in a lavishly decorated room that looked similar to Ji Yao's room on the island. His brows creased together when he realised something was off.

He turned around to leave but the door was suddenly shut and no matter how hard he tried to open it he couldn't. Thinking he should conserve his strength he turned around ready to face what was behind him but to his surprise, it was Ji Yao sitting on the bed while wearing sheer material and nothing else underneath.

Ji Yao, "..."

Through that thin material, he could see the smooth toned muscles that barely saw the sunlight. He had a slim yet fit figure that had Rui Fei parched like he hadn't drunk water for two days. His palms became more clammy as his gaze swept past Ji Yao's bottom half.

Feeling like a pervert his gaze didn't linger at all. He decided to fix his eyes on Ji Yao's face instead. The temptation sitting on the bed crossed one leg over the other staring at Rui Fei with a lecherous gaze. Ji Yao leaned his body to the side with his hand supporting him as he said, "Why aren't you looking? Is this little cub shy?"

Rui Fei's heart jolted at his words not sure how to react. At this point, he was telling himself, it's not real, over and over again but it was pointless. His mind was already in the gutter especially when Ji Yao was wearing something he had dreamt of in his spring dream.

Ji Yao seductively caressed his own neck before placing his finger into his mouth and licking it. A sweet moan escaped his throat striking this cub right in the balls. "Ah...... how about you tie me up and do whatever you please with me," said Ji Yao pulling out a belt from who knows were.
