Chapter 31: The Queen Of Illusion (1)
Chapter 31: The Queen Of Illusion (1)
When Jim entered their house, he found out that no damage could be seen. The walls of where they pass through when he and Bantay were sent flying was already been restored to their original state.
The things inside their house such as the broken vases, tore paintings, broken antiques, and many other decorations and miscellaneous items that flew and rolled around their house had all been restored to their original state as if they were not destroyed in the first place.
That moment, Jim already knew it, their house, even though it was heavily damaged by the pressuring aura from before, it was restored by his mother using her power.
After looking around, Jim looked for Sheiyn and found her sleeping peacefully on the sofa. Her light brown skin had gone softer and richer and a cute little angel was revealed in her sleep. Her dark brown short hair flowed down to her shoulder making it hard for Jim to retract his gaze.
Even her white dress that had a tore on its upper sleeve was been restored as well, and that made Sheiyn even more pretty.
Jim immediately found himself blushing as his heart was palpitating uncontrollably and wanting to jump to Sheiyn already. Bantay who saw his master in daze called out in worry, "Master!! Are you ok?"
Immediately, Jim regained his sanity as he shook his head trying to wake himself from his fantasy. "Yeah, I'm ok."
Knowing that Sheiyn was fine, he went to the window to see what was happening outside. Their house was placed not too far away from the village gate so naturally, once he took a look from their window on the second floor, he was able to put a sight in what was happening outside the village, especially the appearance of the orange portal.
There were no towering walls from their village and only low fences encircling their house was there, so even if he was in their front yard, once he turned his gaze outside the village, he could easily see the portal that was floating a high above the ground.
Of course, several stone houses were built next to each other but it didn't hinder him to see the portal above.
From there at the window, Jim immediately saw three humanoid creatures coming out from the portal before landing slowly to the ground. He could feel their hostile aura even from afar. He even found his hand shaking violently.
He was not too sure whether his hand was trembling because of fear or excitement but one thing that immediately came out of his mind was that, "I want their blood!"
Seeing his master trembling in agitation, Bantay patted his shoulder as he asked, "Master, are you really ok?"
"Y-yes, I'm really fine." Jim who had once again lost himself had then again regained his sanity.
He stared outside intently as he pointed his index finger in there, "Those things, do you know what are those?"
Since the humanoid creatures were about two hundred meters away from him and were within his hearing range, Jim tried to hear their presence but to his disbelief, he couldn't hear a thing from them at all. Even their voices or the flow of their energy was void. It was as if something was preventing him to do so.
Even though he could feel their hostile aura leaking out from them, Jim couldn't hear anything unlike when he tried to hear all the other people from the village, he could hear something like flowing water from them.
If an energy from a person was much stronger, he could hear something like rushing water in the river. If it was weaker energy, then he could hear a much calmer sound of flowing water.
Bantay looked outside as well and put his gaze to where his master was pointing and a fragmented memory invaded his mind. Bantay narrowed his eyes as one word escaped from his lips, "Demons."
"What?!" Jim responded in shock. "Those things are the so-called demons?!"
"No, I think they are not the Pureblooded ones. Their aura and World Energy were still too weak compared to those monsters." Bantay who was trying to catch the fragmented memory responded in contemplation.
"They are still not a Pureblooded?" Jim muttered in disbelief, "Just how strong are the real demons?"
"I don't know, but I felt that those creatures are not Pureblooded Demons." Bantay replied as he pondered.
Demons were Divided into two classes; Semi-Demon and Pureblooded Demon. Both of them had many other subclasses that defined their rank and level of strength.
Under Semi-Demon were Low Demon, High Demon, Demon Warrior, and lastly Demon Captain.
On the other hand, the Pureblooded Demon class was categorized as a Horned Demon, Demon General, Demon Knights, and lastly the Demon King level.
Bantay could barely remember all of these but his instinct was still telling him that the creatures that came out from the portal were not Pureblooded Demons. He gazed there for a little longer but he found his body jolted in shock.
The creature in the middle was releasing an incredible aura that didn't even pale in comparison to his own. The creature appeared that it was preparing to strike the village. Bantay gazed there warily as he readied himself to protect his master.
However, what shocked him, even more, was that he found the creature helplessly fell on the ground with its head went missing. Sam that he met before appeared behind the creatures, staring at the portal above. He then turned around and walked closer to the other two creatures only to cut the head of both of them without retaliation. As if the creatures let Sam cut their head down!
"Just what kind of monster is your Tito Sam?" Bantay muttered to his master in disbelief.
"Believe me, mom is much stronger, and Tito Jason is the strongest." Jim replied lazily as he put down his elbow on the window and put his hand on his cheek.
"That strong?" Bantay spoke in disbelief. "Just what is the real identity of those three?!'
"Ahmm... I think people called them Royal Hunter in the past." Jim pondered for a moment before he replied.
"Royal Hunter?" Bantay repeated those words doubtfully, unsure if he heard it wrong.
What was a Royal Hunter?
Royal Hunter was an 'Advance Rank', and an Advance Rank was given only to those who were worthy and chosen as a vessel by those from 'above'.
Royal Hunter was a hunter that guarding the king himself. They accomplished a dangerous mission for the kingdom only by themselves alone to prove their strength and be worthy as the Royal Hunter. Their strength was among the top of the Kingdom and it didn't pale that much in comparison from the guild masters of the top three guilds, or in other words, SS-rank hunters.
They were a powerhouse themselves and even royals and nobles respect them in their highest.
"So that's the case." Bantay nodded in realization. Of course, he already heard about this so-called Royal Hunter from his minions. He also knew about the other powers lingering outside his territory. It was just that he didn't pay too much attention to it.
"But why is it that it takes too long for your mother to appear?" Bantay who saw Sam killing the humanoid creatures noticed that Charley was still yet to appear.
"Believe me, she's already in there. It was just that she is not allowing anyone to notice her presence and is probably letting uncle Sam satisfy his cravings." Jim replied leisurely. "Look, she's about to reveal her presence."
Bantay immediately put all his attention in there and to his disbelief, he found that Charley was really already in there. It was just that even after he saw her before, his mind was ignoring the fact that she was standing in there.
Just after she revealed her presence, Sam who was in there, immediately disappeared to where he was standing and then reappeared right in front of the village.
As if he was saying, "Ok it's your turn!"
Incredible!
Bantay remarked in reverence. There was only one thing that he wanted to know, "Just how did she do it?"
There was a moment of pause before Jim lazily replied to his astonished tamed beast, "It's her illusions."
