Chapter 157 Khalon Brings Donnyl Lisondra To The Mansion
Arlan brought the general to the open field behind the mansion. There were two helicopters on the open field. One of them was a private helicopter, while the other one looked like an assault helicopter.
Lieutenant General Rivera stared at the assault helicopter in surprise. "So this is what the completed version looks like. It's beautiful and majestic!" He had seen an incomplete version of the Black Dragon Assault Helicopter in the secret warehouse of the Arms Corporation of Maharlika. The aircraft in front of him looked incredibly intimidating and he could already imagine the disaster it would cause as he stared at the fearsome weapon in its arsenal.
Arlan grinned at his words. "I still have more than twenty of this guy hidden somewhere." Arlan said as he knocked on the surface of the helicopter.
"Twenty?! Don't tell me that you're planning to use this thing to deal with the president?!" Lieutenant General Rivera gasped in shock.
Arlan was amused by his words. He shook his head and replied. "Of course not! It would be an overkill if I use this guy to deal with him."
The commanding general heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing that. "How did you even sneak this thing in here?" He asked curiously.
"Is that even important? I showed this to you to let you know that Maharlika is no longer the weak country it was before. When the time is right, I'll show you the true power of my faction..." Arlan put his hands in his pocket while looking at the assault helicopter.
Looking at his confident expression, the commanding general suddenly felt that everything would go smoothly. "Just what are you planning to do by amassing such powerful military resources?" He mumbled.
With Arlan's sensitive hearing, he clearly heard the commanding general's words. "General, I'm just trying to save as many people as I can..." He replied mysteriously.
His cryptic words only made the commanding general even more confused.
Suddenly, a soldier came to report the arrival of Khalon and the others. "Boss, Sir Khalon is back."
Hearing this, Arlan dismissed the soldier before he turned his head to the commanding general. "General, it looks like your surprise came earlier than expected..."
Lieutenant General Rivera stared at him with a perplexed look.
Arlan didn't say anything and just brought him towards the entrance of the mansion.
"Boss, we have completed the mission." Khalon bowed to him as he reported. The five soldiers from the Oorlewende Unit were also standing behind Khalon.
Arlan smiled and asked. "Where is he?"
Khalon gave a signal to the soldiers of the Oorlewende Unit.
One of them turned around and grabbed a tied-up person who was inside their car.
"Hmmm!!! Mnnn! Errghh!" The man's mouth was covered by a cloth so he could only emit muffled screams.
"That person is..." Lieutenant General Rivera stared at the man with narrowed eyes.
"General, do you recognize that person?" Arlan chuckled.
The commanding general walked closer to the man and scrutinized his face.
"Mmmmnnn!!! Errrrgghhh!!"
"Donnyl Lisondra!" The commanding general's eyes darkened after realizing the identity of the man. He sent out his men to capture Donnyl and a few of them died in the process.
Lieutenant General Rivera's eyes turned bloodshot as he attempted to grab Donnyl by the neck. However, he was stopped by Khalon. "I apologize for my behavior, Mr. Roa." He hurriedly said to Arlan.
"It's fine. I know that some of your subordinates died because of him. I understand your anger, but we still have some use for him. You can do whatever you want with him if he is no longer useful." Arlan said.
Khalon released the commanding general's arm.
"Mr. Roa, just tell me if you need me to do something. I will help you as best as I can." The commanding general said.
Arlan shook his head and replied. "There is no need for you to do anything at the moment, General. Just sit back and watch the show."
The two of them chatted about their plans, but Arlan didn't go into detail. He only hinted to the commanding general about some matters.
After an hour, the commanding general left the mansion.

"General, are you really willing to work for that person?" The commanding general's right-hand man asked.
Lieutenant General Rivera leaned on his seat and rubbed his temples. "You've seen it yourself. That guy is a monster. Only by working with him can we defeat the president who is also a monster himself."
Jerome Lasala, the commanding general's right-hand man nodded his head in agreement. He was there during the negotiations with Arlan, but he didn't even dare to speak at that time. "General, what if he is someone like Leandro Manzano?" He asked with a serious expression.
Lieutenant General Rivera narrowed his eyes as he stared at the scenery outside the car. "Then the whole country will be in chaos and we won't even be able to do anything to stop him..."
Jerome turned silent at the commanding general's words.

Inside an enclosed room.
"Remove the cloth in his mouth. I'd like to ask him some questions." Arlan commanded as he took his seat in front of the tied-up Donnyl Lisondra.
Khalon untied the cloth in Donnyl's mouth.
"Ha!" Donnyl let out a heavy sigh as he took in a deep breath. He then stared at Arlan with a fearful look on his face. "A-Arlan Dominic Roa... I underestimated you... I thought you were just some greedy businessman, but you are actually a wolf in sheep's clothing..."
Arlan grinned at him. "Surprise." He said in a joking tone.
"I will help you testify against the president, but you have to ensure my safety." Beads of sweat trickled down Donnyl's face as he nervously looked at Arlan and the people behind him. The bodyguards that the president sent to keep an eye on him were effortlessly killed by those people. There were only six of them at that time, but more than thirty world-class bodyguards were killed in just a blink of an eye. The scene of their deaths kept on replaying in his mind like a nightmare.
