The next day, Xia Yu and Huo Yun Chen left the hotel after their breakfast.

As Lin You settled with the check-out procedure, Huo Yun Chen pushed Xia Yu on her wheelchair to the basement parking.

Xia Yu heaved in relief when they reached the basement without running into anyone that might recognize Huo Yun Chen.

"Are you scared?" Huo Yun Chen naturally noticed the anxious look on her face and could guess what was going on in her mind.

He watched her nodded and continued, "You don't have to worry. Brother Xiang had already arranged everything for our security."

Huo Yun Chen pushed her out of the elevator and Xia Yu could see the black MPV parked outside the glass door. Other than a few vehicles, the basement parking was empty.

The door slid open and a familiar face walked out.

Xia Yu naturally knew this man.

He was Huo Yun Chen's manager who had been by Huo Yun Chen's side from the moment he debuted. After Huo Yun Chen's contract with his previous company had expired, Brother Xiang had followed Huo Yun Chen as he went to sign with NEXT Entertainment.

Huo Yun Chen's fans all recognized Brother Xiang's capabilities in handling every matter regarding their favorite celebrity. Back when Huo Yun Chen went on a long hiatus after his accident, Brother Xiang had stayed by his side. It could be seen that Huo Yun Chen's relationship with his manager was quite good.

Xia Yu looked at the cold face of Huo Yun Chen's manager and suddenly felt anxious. Yesterday, she had agreed to be in a relationship with Huo Yun Chen.

However, now that she was meeting Brother Xiang as Huo Yun Chen's girlfriend, Xia Yu was a little afraid that the man would scold her.

Huo Yun Chen is one of the top celebrities in the country.

Preciously, Xia Yu had often heard how an agency would prevent their artist from being in a relationship as they did not want to lose their popularity.

"Miss Xia, we meet again." Brother Xiang nodded at her.

Xia Yu snapped out of her thoughts and nodded back to greet him. "Hello, Mister Xiang."

Huo Yun Chen saw the serious look on his manager's face and quickly stood in front of Xia Yu. "Brother Xiang, I thought that you would be leaving earlier."

"I still have a few matters to settle with," Brother Xiang said. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the celebrity. "Aren't you going to introduce us?"

Huo Yun Chen let out a cough. "You already know each other. What's there to be introduced?"

"Back then, it was different." Brother Xiang raised a brow. "What? Are you shy?"

Huo Yun Chen took a deep breath knowing that his manager was right. He stepped aside, revealing his girlfriend behind him. "Brother Xiang, this is Xia Yu, my girlfriend. Xia Yu, my manager. Just call him Brother Xiang."

Xia Yu stared at the man speechlessly. She had not thought that she would be introduced this way. Her gaze shifted to Brother Xiang again and this time, Xia Yu flashed him a smile. "Hello."

"Miss Xia, you don't have to be anxious around me. I promise I don't eat people."

"Brother Xiang, please don't scare my girlfriend with your words."

Brother Xiang shifted his gaze at Huo Yun Chen and scoffed. He turned to Xia Yu again and spoke, "You don't have to worry. The agency is not against him being in a relationship. He's free to date anyone he liked. However, I still needed you to be prepared. Being with someone like Huo Yun Chen is not going to be easy."

Xia Yu understood that Brother Xiang was only giving her this reminder as he was concerned about her relationship with Huo Yun Chen.

She glanced at Huo Yun Chen and saw the anxious look on his face. It was as if he was afraid that she might change her mind after hearing Brother Xiang's words.

"I understand," Xia Yu said.

Brother Xiang let out a breath of relief upon hearing her answer. He glanced at the celebrity and rolled his eyes. This was the first time that he had seen Huo Yun Chen being this anxious.

Was he really afraid that his girlfriend would run away?

"Then, what are you planning to do next?" Brother Xiang asked. He alternated his gaze between the couple and continued. "Are you planning to go public?"

Huo Yun Chen turned to look at Xia Yu. They had only been together for a day and had not discussed anything. Huo Yun Chen only knew that the two of them were now together and did not concern himself with anything else.

"I will let you decide," Huo Yun Chen said. "Whatever your answer will be, I'll listen to you."

Xia Yu gripped the armrest tightly. "Let's not say anything yet. It's still too early."

"I am also fine with that," Huo Yun Chen said.

Their relationship was still new and Huo Yun Chen did not want Xia Yu to face the public before she was ready. It was not easy for him to get himself a girlfriend. He was not willing to let her suffer.

What if the public scare her and she started to run away?

Brother Xiang nodded. "Then, we'll do as you say and discuss this again if you change your mind." It seemed that he needed to come up with a few plans if Huo Yun Chen's relationship was someday exposed.

"Thank you, Brother Xiang." Huo Yun Chen had a bright smile on his face.

Brother Xiang turned around and opened the door for them. "Go in first. It will be a few hours before we arrive in Capital City." Stepping aside, he took out his phone to speak to some people.

From the corner of his eyes, Brother Xiang watched as Huo Yun Chen carried his girlfriend into the MPV. Just as he placed her into the seat, Huo Yun Chen leaned over to peck on Xia Yu's lips.

A soft chuckle escaped him and Brother Xiang looked away.. He really did not expect that he would be seeing this side of Huo Yun Chen.
