You're My Only Star

The vehicle parked in front of the building and a young man stepped out, wanting to help the person in the passenger's seat out. However, his steps halted when he saw the driver come out and waved his hand at him.

Lu Xun walked around the car and helped his wife with the door. He passed his keys to the young man and led his wife into the restaurant.

After giving his name, the waiter led the couple inside to the private room that Lu Xun had booked a while ago.

The waiter handed them their menu and left as they were making their decision.

Song Xing Xing looked around the room and finally heaved in relief. It has been a while since she could go out and relax.

"See what do you like to eat." Lu Xun pushed the menu in front of her.

Usually, he would know to order his wife's favorite food. But now that she was pregnant, her taste has changed and she was a little picky on food.

Song Xing Xing looked at the menu in front of her with a serious look on her face, then choose a few dishes that she wanted to eat.

"Are you sure that you can finish them all?" Lu Xun raised a brow when he saw the number of dishes that his wife had pointed at.

"Hubby, I am now eating for three." Song Xing Xing smiled. "Moreover, you can finish the food afterward."

Lu Xun chuckled when he heard her reason.

The waiter walked in again and Lu Xun read the dishes that his wife wanted to try. Once the waiter had left, he then turned to his wife again.

Song Xing Xing was not the only one who was feeling a little stuffed with their parents living together. After their parents had arrived to visit his wife, it was harder for him to spend his time alone with his wife.

He was missing the world where there were only the two of them.

The thought made him worry about how their life was going to be once the twin came out.

With another two babies wanting to fight for Song Xing Xing's attention, how was he supposed to win? He couldn't really fight with his children, right?

The couple chatted for a bit before the waiter came into the room to deliver their food. Lu Xun helped Song Xing Xing to clip on a few dishes and watched her eat happily.

"The food is really delicious," Song Xing Xing said with a sigh. "It has been a while since I get to eat flavorful food like this."

"Then, eat a little bit more. Tomorrow, you might not be able to eat them again."

Song Xing Xing bit at the crispy chicken and looked at Lu Xun with a bright smile on her face. She placed the chopsticks down and leaned over to peck on his lips. "Hubby, thank you."

She had complained to him that she was feeling stuffy and the man had quickly brought her out for a date.

It was just simple action but Song Xing Xing find that she really love this man.

Lu Xun chuckled at her reaction. "Are you happy?"

"Un. Un. Very happy. Your children are very happy that they could eat delicious food as well."

The couple ate their dinner together and Song Xing Xing almost finished every dish that she had chosen. After paying their bills, Lu Xun led his wife out and the two were planning to head over to the mall to shop for the babies' stuff.

They were about to enter the elevator leading to the third floor when they ran into familiar faces.

Song Xing Xing stared at the man in front of her with a dazed expression. A second later, her gaze shifted to the woman sitting in the wheelchair.

From the look at it, the couple was as surprised as she was.

"Xia Yu! Huo Yun Chen!" Song Xing Xing was the first to break the silence. "I didn't expect that we would run into you here."

Her cheek flushed. Xia Yu did not know how she should be reacting now that she had run into Song Xing Xing and her husband. Thinking that she was on a date with Huo Yun Chen made her shy.

Their relationship was still new and she hasn't told anyone about it yet.

"President Lu, Mrs. Lu, good evening," Huo Yun Chen greeted. Seeing the couple together, Huo Yun Chen quickly changed the way he addressed his friend.

Lu Xun merely gave them a nod to greet them. He alternate his gaze to the couple in front of him and raised a brow. "Are you two together?"

Song Xing Xing looked at her husband with a hint of admiration. This was the question that she wanted to ask but was too shy to speak. Fortunately, Lu Xun had asked this question on her behalf. Song Xing Xing looked at the couple in anticipation.

Hearing the question, Xia Yu lowered her gaze shyly. She... didn't expect that President Lu would be this direct.

Huo Yun Chen let out a cough and rubbed the tip of his nose. "Yes." This was his big boss. Even if he wanted to hide his relationship with Xia Yu, President Lu would easily find out about it once he asked around.

Her eyes widened. Song Xing Xing wanted to clap her hands but this action would be inappropriate at this time. She flashed a smile at the couple and spoke, "It's good that the two of you are together."

Xia Yu thought that Song Xing Xing's reaction was a little strange. She doesn't seem surprised that she had gotten together with Huo Yun Chen.

Meanwhile, a faint smile curled on Lu Xun's lips. Now that Huo Yun Chen was dating someone, he did not have to worry that this young man was going to eye his wife, right?

The elevator finally stopped in front of them with a ding.

The two couples entered the elevator together. Both Huo Yun Chen and Xia Yu couldn't help but feel a little awkward with this situation.

Taking a deep breath, Song Xing Xing looked at Xia Yu and spoke, "Xia Yu, if you are free, come over to my house and play. Coincidentally, I didn't have much to do these days. It would be great to have someone to talk to."

Xia Yu pondered over her invitation and nodded.
